The Numbers That Matter
Diameter is 34 inches, length is 95 inches at full pressure, weight is about 23 lb. The C4-34 is 7 inches wider than the C4-27 and 11 inches longer. Sessions run about an hour, so the wider the chamber, the more room you have to stay comfortable. The standard 80 L compressor reaches 4 PSI; upgrading to the 120 L gets you there faster. The frame stands on end with the folded chamber inside it between sessions.
Power is a standard grounded 120 V outlet. The compressor has no switch; you plug it in to start. First inflation takes 10 to 20 minutes. Newtowne supplies a manual, video training, and setup help by video call. Replace the compressor filter once a year and lubricate the horseshoe-shaped end stops on the airtight zipper every 10 to 20 uses with the tube Newtowne supplies.

What is the difference between the 80 L and 120 L compressor?
Both reach the same 4 PSI. The 120 L inflates the chamber faster because it moves more air per minute. Both must run the entire session. Both plug into a standard 120 V outlet with no switch. The C4-34 ships with an 80 L as standard; the 120 L is available as an upgrade. Newtowne ships the 120 L as standard on the C4-40 and C4-Tent. The C4-27 and shoe models ship with the 80 L.
Can I use the C4-34 for my pet?
Yes. Newtowne publishes a guide for pet and veterinary use. For a 34 inch chamber it suggests a crate with a girth (2W + 2H) of no more than 90 inches and a length of no more than 40 inches. The Numbers That Matter
Diameter is 34 inches, length is 95 inches at full pressure, weight is about 23 lb. The C4-34 is 7 inches wider than the C4-27 and 11 inches longer. Sessions run about an hour, so the wider the chamber, the more room you have to stay comfortable. The standard 80 L compressor reaches 4 PSI; upgrading to the 120 L gets you there faster. What are Affirm's rates?

Monthly installments spread the cost over a longer term, with rates from 0% to 36% APR depending on your credit profile. You see the exact terms before you agree to anything. No origination fees, no prepayment penalty, no late fees.
Will applying hurt my credit score?
Prequalification does not. Affirm and Acorn Finance both run a soft check to show you offers, which has no impact on your score. Proceeding with a monthly installment plan or a business loan may involve a hard inquiry. That is why it pays to prequalify with more than one lender first and only proceed with the best offer.
Can I finance equipment for a business?
Yes, and for most business buyers it is the better route. Brickhouse funds up to $250,000 on a one-page application with no financial statements. Reliant approves in 2 to 4 hours. Business financing is usually tied to the business rather than your personal credit report, and financed equipment can qualify for a Section 179 deduction. Should I finance each machine separately?
No. This is the most common and most expensive mistake. Separate applications mean separate hard inquiries, separate payments, and a worse rate on each, because every individual ticket is small. Get one quote from RecovAthlete covering everything you are buying, including freight, and put that single number on one application.
Does Section 179 apply to financed equipment?
Financed equipment can qualify. Section 179 lets US businesses deduct the cost of qualifying equipment in the year it is placed in service, and financing the purchase does not by itself disqualify it. The equipment must be in service, not merely ordered, within the tax year. Annual limits and eligibility rules are set by the IRS and change year to year, so consult your accountant.
Can freight and installation be financed?
Freight, yes. On Affirm it is part of the order total at checkout. On business financing, put freight on the RecovAthlete quote and the whole quote amount goes on the application. Installation and room construction are harder, because some equipment lenders will not fund non-equipment costs. Ask the lender before you sign.
Can I pay off early?

It ships with the internal pressure gauge and a 4 inch curved foam mattress with cover included, and is available with an 80 L or 120 L compressor. That is the difference between the two Newtowne cylinders most buyers compare. It runs at 4 PSI, about 1.3 ATA, is FDA cleared under 510(k) K051759, and is built by Newtowne Hyperbarics in Pocomoke City, Maryland. Shipping is included. A prescription is required to buy it.

The Problem the C4-34 Solves
Sessions run about an hour. At 27 inches your arms stay at your sides the whole time. At 34 inches you can shift position, cross your arms, or read a book. Seven inches of diameter is the difference between a chamber you tolerate and one you use every day. The C4-34 ships with the gauge and a 4 inch mattress included, and is available with a 120 L compressor upgrade. If your floor takes 95 inches, this is the Newtowne to buy.
IMPORTANT: FLOOR LENGTH AND THE PRESCRIPTION
The C4-34 is 95 inches long. That is just under 8 feet. The frame is 36.75 inches wide and 77.5 inches long. Measure before you order. If 95 inches does not fit, the Newtowne C4-27 is 84 inches on a 67.5 inch frame, and the Newtowne Long Shoe is 81 inches on a 68 inch frame. RecovAthlete treats Newtowne chambers as final sale; Newtowne's manual references a 15-day factory return policy with separate terms. Confirm with us before ordering, because the room check matters.

The Numbers That Matter
Diameter is 34 inches, length is 95 inches at full pressure, weight is about 23 lb. The C4-34 is 7 inches wider than the C4-27 and 11 inches longer. Sessions run about an hour, so the wider the chamber, the more room you have to stay comfortable. The standard 80 L compressor reaches 4 PSI; upgrading to the 120 L gets you there faster. Two viewports give you light from both sides.
Operating pressure is 4 PSI, or 1.3 ATA, the same as every Newtowne Class 4 chamber. The C4-34 has three pressure relief valves (two on the chamber, one on the compressor), four accessory ports, top or side zipper placement, and a power outage alarm. The internal gauge and the 4 inch curved foam mattress with cover ship in the box.
Room, Power, and Setup
The frame is 36.75 inches wide and 77.5 inches long. Position the chamber and frame at least 3 ft from heat or open flame, in a cool room. Place the compressor 4 to 6 ft from the chamber with slack in the air hose. Pressure raises the inside temperature 5 to 10 F during a session. The frame stands on end with the folded chamber inside it between sessions.
Power is a standard grounded 120 V outlet. The compressor has no switch; you plug it in to start. First inflation takes 10 to 20 minutes. Newtowne supplies a manual, video training, and setup help by video call. Replace the compressor filter once a year and lubricate the horseshoe-shaped end stops on the airtight zipper every 10 to 20 uses with the tube Newtowne supplies.

SAFETY: READ BEFORE FIRST USE
- This chamber pressurizes with room air only. Never pressurize it with oxygen. An optional concentrator delivers oxygen through the mask or cannula.
- Keep the compressor running for the whole session. If power stops or the air hose disconnects, open the deflate valve, depressurize, and exit immediately.
- Do not bring electrical or static-producing devices inside unless Newtowne specifically authorizes them.
- Do not open the zippers until the chamber material is no longer rigid.
- No solvents, alcohol, bleach, adhesives, or sealants on the chamber. They void the warranty.
- Inspect the zippers within 7 days of delivery and report any fault to RecovAthlete then.

Is the C4-34 worth the price over the C4-27?
If your floor takes 95 inches, yes. You get 7 more inches of diameter, a second viewport, four accessory ports, the internal gauge, and a 4 in mattress with cover. The C4-34 includes the gauge and mattress, adds 7 inches of width, a second viewport, four accessory ports, and top or side entry. That is what the price difference buys.
What is the difference between the 80 L and 120 L compressor?
Both reach the same 4 PSI. The 120 L inflates the chamber faster because it moves more air per minute. Both must run the entire session. Both plug into a standard 120 V outlet with no switch. The C4-34 ships with an 80 L as standard; the 120 L is available as an upgrade. Newtowne ships the 120 L as standard on the C4-40 and C4-Tent. The C4-27 and shoe models ship with the 80 L.
Can I use the C4-34 for my pet?
Yes. Newtowne publishes a guide for pet and veterinary use. For a 34 inch chamber it suggests a crate with a girth (2W + 2H) of no more than 90 inches and a length of no more than 40 inches. Do you ship the C4-34 to Canada?

The Numbers That Matter

What is the difference between the 80 L and 120 L compressor?
Both reach the same 4 PSI. The 120 L inflates the chamber faster because it moves more air per minute. Both must run the entire session. Both plug into a standard 120 V outlet with no switch. The C4-34 ships with an 80 L as standard; the 120 L is available as an upgrade. Newtowne ships the 120 L as standard on the C4-40 and C4-Tent. The C4-27 and shoe models ship with the 80 L.
Can I use the C4-34 for my pet?
Yes. Newtowne publishes a guide for pet and veterinary use. For a 34 inch chamber it suggests a crate with a girth (2W + 2H) of no more than 90 inches and a length of no more than 40 inches. Newtowne Hyperbarics warrants your hyperbaric chamber to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase.
If a defect is discovered during this period, Newtowne will, at its discretion:
- Repair the product using new or refurbished components, or
- Replace the product if repair is not possible.
This warranty applies only to defects in manufacturing and workmanship discovered during normal use, as recommended by the manufacturer.

C4-34 vs. C4-27: What Spending More Gets You
Sessions run about an hour, so the wider the chamber, the more room you have to stay comfortable. The C4-34 is 34 inches across; the C4-27 is 27. The C4-34 also ships with the gauge and mattress included and can be upgraded to a 120 L compressor.

Federal law restricts sale of this device to the order of a physician, dentist, or other qualified professional. Practitioner and clinic purchases are subject to the same license and prescription verification. You may place your order first, but RecovAthlete cannot release the chamber for shipment until the documentation has been verified.

Newtowne C4-34 Questions
Is the Newtowne C4-34 FDA cleared?
Yes. Newtowne chambers are FDA cleared and registered under 510(k) number K051759. Newtowne's stated indication for use is acute mountain sickness. Any other use is off label, and your session schedule is set by your prescriber, not by Newtowne or RecovAthlete.
Is the C4-34 worth the price over the C4-27?
If your floor takes 95 inches, yes. You get 7 more inches of diameter, a second viewport, four accessory ports, the internal gauge, and a 4 in mattress with cover. The C4-34 includes the gauge and mattress, adds 7 inches of width, a second viewport, four accessory ports, and top or side entry. That is what the price difference buys.
What is the difference between the 80 L and 120 L compressor?
Both reach the same 4 PSI. The 120 L inflates the chamber faster because it moves more air per minute. Both must run the entire session. Both plug into a standard 120 V outlet with no switch. The C4-34 ships with an 80 L as standard; the 120 L is available as an upgrade. Newtowne ships the 120 L as standard on the C4-40 and C4-Tent. The C4-27 and shoe models ship with the 80 L.
Can I use the C4-34 for my pet?
Yes. Newtowne publishes a guide for pet and veterinary use. For a 34 inch chamber it suggests a crate with a girth (2W + 2H) of no more than 90 inches and a length of no more than 40 inches. Newtowne states a veterinary prescription is not required. Talk to your vet first. The pet guide is linked below.
Do you ship the C4-34 to Canada?
We ship Newtowne chambers within the US. For Canadian buyers, we ship to the UPS Store nearest you on the US side of the border. You collect it there and carry it across yourself. Call 866-861-6317 to set this up.
Does the C4-34 come with an oxygen concentrator?
No. The oxygen kit is included: valve, hose, adult mask, and adult cannula. The concentrator is sold separately and needs its own prescription. Newtowne recommends a 10 L unit run at 7 to 9 LPM. Call 866-861-6317 for a combined quote.
What does a Newtowne warranty cover on the C4-34?
Newtowne covers defects in material and workmanship for 2 years. Years 3, 4, and 5 can be added inside the first 2 years; the prices are in the spec table. The owner pays shipping to and from the factory. Zipper damage from misuse and any use of sealants, adhesives, or solvents are not covered. Full terms are in the warranty tab on this page.

FDA STATUS
OxyRevo chambers are CE certified and UKCA verified, but not FDA cleared for medical use in the United States. They are designed for wellness and recovery applications. If you need an FDA cleared chamber, call us and we will point you to the models that carry that clearance.
Full FDA and medical disclaimer
The FDA clears soft chambers only up to 1.3 ATA for altitude sickness. Using any chamber for wellness or recovery is off-label use: legal, but not FDA evaluated. Chambers at 1.4 to 2.0 ATA are typically Class II devices requiring a prescription and PVHO-1 compliance in the U.S.

OxyRevo chambers are made by Zhuji Belecon Health Technology Co., Ltd. The manufacturer holds 21 certification and test documents covering the chambers, compressors, tanks and inflatable bags. RecovAthlete has been an authorized OxyRevo dealer since 2023 and sells 11 models in the US. Certificates are issued to the manufacturer and cover the full range, including models we do not stock.
CE certification (issued by Ente Certificazione Macchine, Italy) covers European machinery, electrical and pressure equipment safety rules. UKCA verification (ICR Polska) covers the equivalent UK regulations. ISO 13485:2016 is the medical-device quality standard. EMC testing confirms no interference with home electronics, and RoHS and REACH testing confirms the foam, seals and fabric contain no restricted chemicals.
