Newtowne's product page gives the C4-27 as 27 inches in diameter and 84 inches long at full pressure. Sessions run about an hour, and 27 inches means your arms stay at your sides the whole time. If that sounds tight, it probably is; the C4-34 adds 7 inches of diameter. The Class 4 manual lists the chamber at 92 inches, which is the flat length before the ends round off under pressure. Power is a standard grounded 120 V outlet. The compressor has no switch; you plug it in to start. First inflation takes 10 to 20 minutes. Newtowne supplies a manual, video training, and setup help by video call. SAFETY: READ BEFORE FIRST USE

Diameter is the decision. Sessions run about an hour, so the wider the chamber, the more room you have to stay comfortable. Newtowne publishes a guide for pet and veterinary use of its chambers. For a 27 inch chamber it suggests a crate with a girth (2W + 2H) of no more than 64 inches and a length of no more than 30 inches. Diameter is the decision. Sessions run about an hour, so the wider the chamber, the more room you have to stay comfortable. The C4-27 is 27 inches across; the C4-34 is 34 inches across with the gauge, mattress, and a faster 120 L compressor included. Is 27 inches wide enough?
Newtowne rates the C4-27 for an average-sized adult lying flat. It does not publish a height or weight limit. You lie with your arms at your sides. Why does Newtowne list 84 inches in one place and 92 in another?
Newtowne's product page gives 84 inches at full pressure. The Class 4 manual gives 92 inches, which is the flat length before the ends round off. Both are Newtowne figures for the same chamber. Plan your space on the 67.5 inch frame plus the rounded ends.
Do you ship the C4-27 to Canada?
We ship Newtowne chambers within the US. For Canadian buyers, we ship to the UPS Store nearest you on the US side of the border. You collect it there and carry it across yourself. Call 866-861-6317 to set this up. We do not ship to PO boxes.
Can I use the C4-27 for my pet?
Newtowne publishes a guide for pet and veterinary use of its chambers. For a 27 inch chamber it suggests a crate with a girth (2W + 2H) of no more than 64 inches and a length of no more than 30 inches. Does the C4-27 come with an oxygen concentrator?
No. The oxygen kit is included: valve, hose, adult mask, and adult cannula. The concentrator is sold separately and needs its own prescription. Newtowne recommends a 10 L unit run at 7 to 9 LPM. You can add one from the options at the top of this page.
What does a Newtowne warranty cover on the C4-27?

The Numbers That Matter
Newtowne's product page gives the C4-27 as 27 inches in diameter and 84 inches long at full pressure. Sessions run about an hour, and 27 inches means your arms stay at your sides the whole time. If that sounds tight, it probably is; the C4-34 adds 7 inches of diameter. The Class 4 manual lists the chamber at 92 inches, which is the flat length before the ends round off under pressure. Plan your floor space on the 67.5 inch frame plus the rounded ends. The bladder weighs about 19 lb.
Operating pressure is 4 PSI, or 1.3 ATA, the same as every Newtowne Class 4 chamber. The 80 L compressor inflates slower than the 120 L on the C4-34, but reaches the same 4 PSI. It has its own relief valve, and the chamber has two more preset at the factory to 4 to 4.4 PSI. One viewport, two accessory ports, top or side zipper placement, and a power outage alarm are standard. The internal gauge and the 4 inch mattress are upgrades; a half inch chamber mat is included.
Room, Power, and Setup
Position the chamber and frame at least 3 ft from heat or open flame, in a cool room. Place the compressor 4 to 6 ft from the chamber with slack in the air hose. Pressure raises the inside temperature 5 to 10 F during a session. The frame stands on end with the folded chamber inside it between sessions.
Power is a standard grounded 120 V outlet. The compressor has no switch; you plug it in to start. First inflation takes 10 to 20 minutes. Newtowne supplies a manual, video training, and setup help by video call. Replace the compressor filter once a year and lubricate the horseshoe-shaped end stops on the airtight zipper every 10 to 20 uses with the tube Newtowne supplies.

SAFETY: READ BEFORE FIRST USE

- Do not bring electrical or static-producing devices inside unless Newtowne specifically authorizes them.

- No solvents, alcohol, bleach, adhesives, or sealants on the chamber. They void the warranty.

Can I use the C4-27 for my pet?
Newtowne publishes a guide for pet and veterinary use of its chambers. For a 27 inch chamber it suggests a crate with a girth (2W + 2H) of no more than 64 inches and a length of no more than 30 inches. Does the C4-27 come with an oxygen concentrator?
No. The oxygen kit is included: valve, hose, adult mask, and adult cannula. The concentrator is sold separately and needs its own prescription. Newtowne recommends a 10 L unit run at 7 to 9 LPM. You can add one from the options at the top of this page.

Will applying hurt my credit score?

Can I finance equipment for a business?

Should I finance each machine separately?

Does Section 179 apply to financed equipment?
Financed equipment can qualify. Section 179 lets US businesses deduct the cost of qualifying equipment in the year it is placed in service, and financing the purchase does not by itself disqualify it. The equipment must be in service, not merely ordered, within the tax year. Annual limits and eligibility rules are set by the IRS and change year to year, so consult your accountant.
Can freight and installation be financed?
Freight, yes. On Affirm it is part of the order total at checkout. On business financing, put freight on the RecovAthlete quote and the whole quote amount goes on the application. The Numbers That Matter
Newtowne's product page gives the C4-27 as 27 inches in diameter and 84 inches long at full pressure. Sessions run about an hour, and 27 inches means your arms stay at your sides the whole time. If that sounds tight, it probably is; the C4-34 adds 7 inches of diameter. The Class 4 manual lists the chamber at 92 inches, which is the flat length before the ends round off under pressure. Plan your floor space on the 67.5 inch frame plus the rounded ends. The bladder weighs about 19 lb.
Operating pressure is 4 PSI, or 1.3 ATA, the same as every Newtowne Class 4 chamber. The 80 L compressor inflates slower than the 120 L on the C4-34, but reaches the same 4 PSI. It has its own relief valve, and the chamber has two more preset at the factory to 4 to 4.4 PSI. One viewport, two accessory ports, top or side zipper placement, and a power outage alarm are standard. The internal gauge and the 4 inch mattress are upgrades; a half inch chamber mat is included.
Room, Power, and Setup
Position the chamber and frame at least 3 ft from heat or open flame, in a cool room. Place the compressor 4 to 6 ft from the chamber with slack in the air hose. Pressure raises the inside temperature 5 to 10 F during a session. The frame stands on end with the folded chamber inside it between sessions.
Power is a standard grounded 120 V outlet. The compressor has no switch; you plug it in to start. First inflation takes 10 to 20 minutes. Newtowne supplies a manual, video training, and setup help by video call. Replace the compressor filter once a year and lubricate the horseshoe-shaped end stops on the airtight zipper every 10 to 20 uses with the tube Newtowne supplies.

SAFETY: READ BEFORE FIRST USE
- This chamber pressurizes with room air only. Never pressurize it with oxygen. An optional concentrator delivers oxygen through the mask or cannula.
- Keep the compressor running for the whole session. If power stops or the air hose disconnects, open the deflate valve, depressurize, and exit immediately.
- Do not bring electrical or static-producing devices inside unless Newtowne specifically authorizes them.

- No solvents, alcohol, bleach, adhesives, or sealants on the chamber. They void the warranty.

SAFETY: READ BEFORE FIRST USE
- This chamber pressurizes with room air only. Never pressurize it with oxygen. An optional concentrator delivers oxygen through the mask or cannula.
- Keep the compressor running for the whole session. If power stops or the air hose disconnects, open the deflate valve, depressurize, and exit immediately.
- Do not bring electrical or static-producing devices inside unless Newtowne specifically authorizes them.
- Do not open the zippers until the chamber material is no longer rigid.
- No solvents, alcohol, bleach, adhesives, or sealants on the chamber. They void the warranty.

Can I use the C4-27 for my pet?
Newtowne publishes a guide for pet and veterinary use of its chambers. For a 27 inch chamber it suggests a crate with a girth (2W + 2H) of no more than 64 inches and a length of no more than 30 inches. Does the C4-27 come with an oxygen concentrator?

Warranty Policy – Newtowne Hyperbaric Chambers
Newtowne Hyperbarics warrants your hyperbaric chamber to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase.
If a defect is discovered during this period, Newtowne will, at its discretion:
- Repair the product using new or refurbished components, or
- Replace the product if repair is not possible.
This warranty applies only to defects in manufacturing and workmanship discovered during normal use, as recommended by the manufacturer.

SAFETY: READ BEFORE FIRST USE
- This chamber pressurizes with room air only. Never pressurize it with oxygen. An optional concentrator delivers oxygen through the mask or cannula.
- Keep the compressor running for the whole session. If power stops or the air hose disconnects, open the deflate valve, depressurize, and exit immediately.
- Do not bring electrical or static-producing devices inside unless Newtowne specifically authorizes them.
- Do not open the zippers until the chamber material is no longer rigid.
- No solvents, alcohol, bleach, adhesives, or sealants on the chamber. They void the warranty.
- Inspect the zippers within 7 days of delivery and report any fault to RecovAthlete then.
- Stop the session if you feel ear pain or cannot clear your ears. Follow the Newtowne manual on clothing, permitted items, cleaning, and supervision.

Confirm three things. You are comfortable lying flat in 27 inches; if in doubt, call us. You have floor space for the 67.5 in frame plus the rounded ends and a grounded 120 V outlet near where the compressor will sit. You have a prescription, or a plan to get one.
The oxygen concentrator is a separate purchase and needs its own prescription. The internal gauge and 4 in mattress are upgrades. A concentrator and extended warranty can be added from the options at the top of this page.

C4-27, C4-34, or C4-Shoe
Diameter is the decision. Sessions run about an hour, so the wider the chamber, the more room you have to stay comfortable. The C4-27 is 27 inches across; the C4-34 is 34 inches across with the gauge, mattress, and a faster 120 L compressor included. The Newtowne C4-Shoe is a seated alternative if lying flat is not for you.

How much does the Newtowne C4-27 hyperbaric chamber cost?
The current price is at the top of this page and shipping is included. It is the lowest priced chamber Newtowne makes. The oxygen concentrator, internal gauge, and 4 in mattress are separate; their prices are in the upgrade table above. Financing is available for qualified buyers, and military, veteran, and first responder pricing is available by phone.
Is the Newtowne C4-27 FDA cleared?
Yes. Newtowne chambers are FDA cleared and registered under 510(k) number K051759. Newtowne's stated indication for use is acute mountain sickness. Any other use is off label, and your session schedule is set by your prescriber, not by Newtowne or RecovAthlete.
Is 27 inches wide enough?
Newtowne rates the C4-27 for an average-sized adult lying flat. It does not publish a height or weight limit. You lie with your arms at your sides. If you have a broad frame or dislike enclosed spaces, the C4-34 adds 7 inches of width and a second viewport. Why does Newtowne list 84 inches in one place and 92 in another?
Newtowne's product page gives 84 inches at full pressure. The Class 4 manual gives 92 inches, which is the flat length before the ends round off. Both are Newtowne figures for the same chamber. Plan your space on the 67.5 inch frame plus the rounded ends.
Do you ship the C4-27 to Canada?
We ship Newtowne chambers within the US. For Canadian buyers, we ship to the UPS Store nearest you on the US side of the border. You collect it there and carry it across yourself. Call 866-861-6317 to set this up. We do not ship to PO boxes.
Can I use the C4-27 for my pet?
Newtowne publishes a guide for pet and veterinary use of its chambers. For a 27 inch chamber it suggests a crate with a girth (2W + 2H) of no more than 64 inches and a length of no more than 30 inches. Newtowne states a veterinary prescription is not required for pet use. Talk to your vet first. The pet guide is linked below.
Does the C4-27 come with an oxygen concentrator?
No. The oxygen kit is included: valve, hose, adult mask, and adult cannula. The concentrator is sold separately and needs its own prescription. Newtowne recommends a 10 L unit run at 7 to 9 LPM. You can add one from the options at the top of this page.
What does a Newtowne warranty cover on the C4-27?
Newtowne covers defects in material and workmanship for 2 years. Years 3, 4, and 5 can be added inside the first 2 years; the prices are in the spec table.
