An electric stove and rocks take the cabin past 180 F, and you pour water for steam. Both steam models need 220V and a licensed electrician. Browse all traditional saunas.

Infrared: 120V, 15 amp plug. Aston: 220V, 20 amp dedicated outlet. Traditional 4: 220V, 30 amp hardwired, plus a lighting line. Nature 4: a dedicated 25 to 30 amp circuit.

Exterior dimensions start at 36 by 42 inches on the Barrett and Sedona, small enough for a spare corner. The Spa 485 is 48 by 42 inches. Indoor heights run 73 to 81 inches. Leave a few inches for airflow.

Most cabins here are Canadian hemlock. The Sedona is Canadian red cedar, which gives off an aroma when heated. Both use tongue and groove panels that clasp together without tools.

The Sunray Sedona. Same 32 by 32 inch interior as the Barrett, Canadian red cedar instead of hemlock.

The Medical 3. Six panels at 1,500 W on a standard plug, at operating temperature in about 40 minutes.

The Sunray Aston. A 4.5 kW Harvia electric heater, side bench seating, cask and spoon included.

The Medical Traditional 4. A 4,500 W stove to 194 F, with volcanic rocks, bucket and ladle included.

The Medical 5 Ultra. A 72 inch interior height and a removable bench, so the floor clears for a mat.

The Medical Nature 4. Weather-rated walls and a roof overhang, on a level pad that carries its weight.
