Choosing your Forward90
How is the Forward90 different from the other OxyRevo soft chambers?
It comes down to how you sit or lie during a session. The Elite and Apex models are narrow cylinders, 32 or 36 inches across, and you lie flat in them the whole time. The Forward90 is a wide teardrop cabin, 47 inches at its broadest, with an adjustable folding chair inside, so you can sit upright, drop the back to recline, or fold it flat and lie down. The cabin still runs 90 inches long, so lying out fully stays an option. Stepping in through the wider curved-zipper opening is also easier than climbing into a 32 inch tube. What can you tell me about the folding chair?
The chair ships inside the chamber at no extra cost. It is an adjustable folding recliner, which the OxyRevo spec sheet lists simply as ADJUSTABLE. You set the back upright to sit, part way down to recline, or all the way flat to lie out, and the whole chair lifts out if you want the bare floor. What OxyRevo does not publish is a seat height, a recline angle in degrees, or a weight rating for the chair. Standard or Pro, which operating unit should I get?
The chamber is the same in both. Standard is three separate machines, a compressor, an oxygen concentrator and a cooler, that you connect and run individually. Pro folds all three into one all-in-one cabinet with a single power button, for a tidier setup and a smaller footprint. Buyers who want the simplest setup pick Pro; Standard costs less and is lighter to move. The full unit dimensions and ratings for both are in the specification table.
Is the 1.4 ATA or the 1.5 ATA version right for me?
They are two separate variants priced differently, and the only thing that changes is the top of the pressure range. The 1.4 version steps up from 1.1 ATA, and the 1.5 version steps up from 1.2 ATA, both through the same one-press converter, and both use filtered air. Which pressure suits you is a call for your physician, not for us. If you think you might want the higher ceiling down the line, it is cheaper to buy the 1.5 version now than to swap chambers later.
Can the Forward90 reach 2.0 or 2.5 ATA?
No, and that is a design limit rather than a setting. Soft-shell chambers like the Forward90 are engineered for home use and stop at 1.5 ATA. Anything at 2.0 ATA or above has to be a hard-shell chamber for pressure and safety reasons. If your physician has specified 2.0 ATA, look at the hard-shell OxyRevo Space60 for a seated unit, or the Quest36 and Quest30 for lying. Genuine 2.5 ATA medical chambers are hospital equipment that need certified operators, and we do not carry them. Call 866-861-6317 and we will point you to the right pressure class.
Size, weight and setup
How much room does it take up?
Set up and inflated, the chamber runs 90 inches long by 47 inches at its widest point. On top of that you need clear floor at the entry end to climb in and out, plus space beside it for the operating unit. The Pro all-in-one cabinet is 27.56 by 13.78 by 29.53 inches; the Standard version instead needs room for three separate machines. The number that trips people up is the 90 inch length, so measure that run before you order. If your room cannot spare it, the Forward90 MINI gives you the same 47 inch cabin at 66 inches long.
How heavy is the Forward90, and can I move it on my own?
The chamber weighs 30 lbs (15 kg) and deflates down to a packable size, so shifting the chamber itself is a one-person job. The weight lives in the operating unit. The Pro all-in-one cabinet is around 80 kg and is not something you slide across the room casually. With the Standard version you have three separate machines to reposition instead of one heavy cabinet. Plan the location of the operating unit before setup so you are not moving it twice.
What colours can I order it in?
There are four cover colours at checkout: Black, Blue, Grey and White. Grey is the standard finish and ships by default. If you run a clinic and want the chamber to match your space, OEM colours can be arranged. Colour is chosen separately from the pressure version and the Pro or Standard unit, so any mix of the three is orderable.
How hard is it to set up?
You do not need any special tools. OxyRevo puts first-time assembly at 30 to 40 minutes, which covers unpacking, positioning the chamber, connecting the air and oxygen tubing and the power cable to the operating unit, and setting up the chair and frame. Every order includes remote installation help, so you can get our technician on the phone to walk you through it, and a guided setup video is available too. Lifetime technical support comes with the chamber, so a call later on costs nothing.
Delivery and shipping
How long does the whole order take to arrive?
For US addresses, plan on about 2 to 3 weeks from order to delivery, covering production and transit, with tracking sent once the chamber leaves the warehouse. International orders run longer, usually around 40 to 50 days, because they include freight and customs clearance. Two delivery levels are offered. Standard Delivery drops the crated chamber at your location and you handle the unloading, uncrating and moving yourself. White Glove Delivery and Chamber Education is the full-service option, where the team unloads, sets up and cleans up, and walks you through operating the chamber before they leave.
Do you ship to Canada and Australia?
Yes, the Forward90 ships worldwide, Canada and Australia included. The price we quote covers shipping, and on international orders that also covers customs clearance and import duties, so there are no surprise fees on delivery. Transit to Canada or Australia usually lands in the 40 to 50 day range. Financing is available for Canadian buyers. What is included with the chamber?
The Forward90 arrives with the chamber, the operating unit for the version you picked, and the adjustable folding chair. It also ships with the mattress, the metal frame, the anti-roll bolsters, an oxygen mask, a nasal cannula, standard and spare filters, fuses, the air and oxygen tubing, and the power cable. How often do the filters need changing, and can I buy more?
The compressor filters are the only part on a routine replacement schedule, roughly every 6 to 12 months depending on how much you use the chamber. The oxygen concentrator produces oxygen continuously, so there are no oxygen tanks to refill or swap. Your chamber ships with spare filters and fuses to get you started. Using the chamber
How loud is it, and does it get warm inside?
The chamber is rated at 50 dB or under, roughly a quiet conversation or a fridge hum, so most people rest, read or sleep through a session. Cooling ships either way: the Pro all-in-one carries two cooling machines and a water container, and the Standard set includes the ZLA01 air cooler. Both dehumidify and cool, with the Pro the stronger of the two. In a room with working air conditioning the interior stays comfortable, though we would not run long sessions in an unconditioned room during a heatwave.
How long is a session, and how often would I use it?
The OxyRevo user manual gives a session length of 60 to 90 minutes. A common wellness routine is 3 to 5 sessions a week, though the right schedule for you is something to confirm with your physician. During the session you stay in whichever position you set the chair to, upright, reclined or flat. We do not make any claims about outcomes from hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
What does a session actually feel like?
Mostly you notice your ears. As the chamber pressurizes and depressurizes there is a pressure change in the ears, much like a plane climbing or descending, and swallowing or yawning clears it. Most people find their ears settle after the first few sessions. This is exactly why the pressure converter starts low, at 1.1 or 1.2 ATA, so a new user can build up gradually rather than jumping to full pressure.
What should I wear inside?
Loose, comfortable clothing is all you need. Take off shoes, jewellery and anything sharp before you get in, since those are what can damage the cabin. Beyond that there is no special clothing or gear required for a session.
Safety and warranty
Can two people go in together?
OxyRevo says the Forward90 is designed for one person, but that two will fit once the adjustable chair is taken out, and their copy references one adult and a child together. That is purely a statement about how big the cabin is. Whether two people should actually share a session, and whether a child belongs in a hyperbaric chamber at all, is a decision for a physician. An adult should always be operating and supervising, in every case.
Do I need a technician or a doctor to run it?
No, OxyRevo builds the Forward90 for owners to install and operate themselves. It can be run from inside or outside the cabin, with a pressure gauge and pressure-deflating valves on both sides of the shell. Whether hyperbaric sessions are suitable for you is a separate matter, and one for your physician, especially if you have any ear, sinus or lung condition. On the equipment side, no professional operator is required.
Does the manual list anyone who should not use it?
Yes, the OxyRevo user manual sets out its own exclusions. It states the chamber should not be used by pregnant women or people with severe infectious diseases, bad colds, pneumothorax, severe emphysema, hypertension over 160/100, or severe heart problems, and that children should use it only under adult care. That list is the manufacturer's, not ours. Whether the Forward90 is appropriate for your situation is a decision for your physician, and we make no claims about what hyperbaric oxygen therapy does for any condition.
What warranty comes with the Forward90?
It carries a 1-year commercial and 2-year home use warranty, plus lifetime technical support at no charge. If a quality fault appears in the warranty period and can be repaired, OxyRevo sends the replacement parts free and provides step-by-step repair guidance over photo and video.
