You step in through the door, stooping if you are tall, and sit in the folding chair that ships with it. No crawling into a horizontal tube. It runs at 4 PSI, about 1.3 ATA, is FDA cleared under 510(k) K051759, and is built by Newtowne Hyperbarics in Pocomoke City, Maryland. A prescription is required to buy it.

The Problem the C4-Tent Solves

The Numbers That Matter
Chamber at full pressure: 72 inches long, 40 inches wide at the center, 58 inches tall. The frame is 62.5 inches long, 64.5 wide and 60.5 tall. The width at the frame is what decides whether it fits your room. Newtowne does not publish the usable interior or entry height. Most adults stoop through the door and sit upright inside.
Operating pressure is 4 PSI, or 1.3 ATA, the same as every Newtowne Class 4 chamber. The Tent ships with the 120 L compressor, the internal pressure gauge, a folding chair, and a chair mat. It works with a 10 L oxygen concentrator through the included oxygen valve. Four accessory ports in total; the included oxygen valve uses one, leaving three. A power outage alarm is standard. Newtowne lists the Tent as patents pending.
Room, Power, and Setup
The frame is 64.5 inches wide, 62.5 long and 60.5 tall. Confirm the assembly and operating clearance above and around it with RecovAthlete before you order. Position the chamber and frame at least 3 ft from heat or open flame, in a cool room. Place the compressor 4 to 6 ft from the chamber with slack in the air hose. Pressure raises the inside temperature 5 to 10 F during a session.
Power is a standard grounded 120 V outlet. The compressor has no switch; you plug it in to start. First inflation takes 10 to 20 minutes. Newtowne supplies a manual, video training, and setup help by video call. Replace the compressor filter once a year.

SAFETY: READ BEFORE FIRST USE
- This chamber pressurizes with room air only. Never pressurize it with oxygen. An optional concentrator delivers oxygen through the mask or cannula.
- Keep the compressor running for the whole session. If power stops or the air hose disconnects, open the deflate valve, depressurize, and exit immediately.
- Do not bring electrical or static-producing devices inside unless Newtowne specifically authorizes them.
- Do not open the zippers until the chamber material is no longer rigid.
- No solvents, alcohol, bleach, adhesives, or sealants on the chamber. They void the warranty.
- Inspect the zippers within 7 days of delivery and report any fault to RecovAthlete then.
- Follow the Newtowne manual on clothing, permitted items, ear equalization, cleaning, and supervision.

Is the Newtowne C4-Tent FDA cleared?
Yes. Newtowne chambers are FDA cleared and registered under 510(k) number K051759. Newtowne's stated indication for use is acute mountain sickness. Any other use is off label, and your session schedule is set by your prescriber, not by Newtowne or RecovAthlete.
Can I sit fully upright in the Newtowne C4-Tent?
Yes, in the included folding chair. The chamber is 58 inches tall at full pressure. Newtowne does not publish a usable interior or entry height, so most adults stoop through the door. If you are over 6 ft, call 866-861-6317 and we will check with the factory.
Can two people use the C4-Tent at once?
Treat it as a single-user chamber. Newtowne has not published an occupancy figure for the Tent, and a pressure vessel is not rated by how much space is inside. Unless Newtowne gives written approval for another set-up, one user.
How is the C4-Tent different from the C4-Shoe and Long Shoe?
You step through a door into the Tent and sit in a chair. You step into a shoe chamber and lower yourself to the floor. The Tent is taller and wider and ships with the gauge, chair, and 120 L compressor. The shoe models are narrower and lower.
What happens if the power goes out during a session?
The C4-Tent has a power outage alarm that sounds when the pump stops. Newtowne's instruction is to open the internal deflate valve, depressurize, and exit. Do not open the zippers until the material is no longer rigid.
Does the C4-Tent come with an oxygen concentrator?

The width at the frame is what decides whether it fits your room. Newtowne does not publish the usable interior or entry height. Most adults stoop through the door and sit upright inside.
Operating pressure is 4 PSI, or 1.3 ATA, the same as every Newtowne Class 4 chamber. The Tent ships with the 120 L compressor, the internal pressure gauge, a folding chair, and a chair mat. It works with a 10 L oxygen concentrator through the included oxygen valve. Four accessory ports in total; the included oxygen valve uses one, leaving three. A power outage alarm is standard. Room, Power, and Setup
The frame is 64.5 inches wide, 62.5 long and 60.5 tall. Confirm the assembly and operating clearance above and around it with RecovAthlete before you order. Position the chamber and frame at least 3 ft from heat or open flame, in a cool room. Place the compressor 4 to 6 ft from the chamber with slack in the air hose. Pressure raises the inside temperature 5 to 10 F during a session.
Power is a standard grounded 120 V outlet. The compressor has no switch; you plug it in to start. First inflation takes 10 to 20 minutes. Newtowne supplies a manual, video training, and setup help by video call. Replace the compressor filter once a year.

SAFETY: READ BEFORE FIRST USE
- This chamber pressurizes with room air only. Never pressurize it with oxygen. An optional concentrator delivers oxygen through the mask or cannula.
- Keep the compressor running for the whole session. If power stops or the air hose disconnects, open the deflate valve, depressurize, and exit immediately.
- Do not bring electrical or static-producing devices inside unless Newtowne specifically authorizes them.

- No solvents, alcohol, bleach, adhesives, or sealants on the chamber. They void the warranty.

Should I finance each machine separately?

Does Section 179 apply to financed equipment?
Financed equipment can qualify. Section 179 lets US businesses deduct the cost of qualifying equipment in the year it is placed in service, and financing the purchase does not by itself disqualify it. The equipment must be in service, not merely ordered, within the tax year. Annual limits and eligibility rules are set by the IRS and change year to year, so consult your accountant.
Can freight and installation be financed?
Freight, yes. On Affirm it is part of the order total at checkout. On business financing, put freight on the RecovAthlete quote and the whole quote amount goes on the application. Warranty Policy – Newtowne Hyperbaric Chambers
Newtowne Hyperbarics warrants your hyperbaric chamber to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase.
If a defect is discovered during this period, Newtowne will, at its discretion:
- Repair the product using new or refurbished components, or
- Replace the product if repair is not possible.
This warranty applies only to defects in manufacturing and workmanship discovered during normal use, as recommended by the manufacturer.

The Newtowne C4-Tent uses an upright, floor-level zipper entry for seated mild hyperbaric sessions. At full pressure it measures 72 x 40 x 58 inches on a 62.5 x 64.5 x 60.5 inch steel frame. You step in through the door, stooping if you are tall, and sit in the folding chair that ships with it. No crawling into a horizontal tube. It runs at 4 PSI, about 1.3 ATA, is FDA cleared under 510(k) K051759, and is built by Newtowne Hyperbarics in Pocomoke City, Maryland. A prescription is required to buy it.

The Problem the C4-Tent Solves
Every soft chamber asks the same thing of you: get down on the floor and crawl in. For anyone with a bad hip, a bad knee, or a bad back, that is the end of the conversation. The C4-Tent has a door. You walk in, sit down in a chair, and the attendant or you close the zippers. It is also the only Newtowne built around a chair, which is why clinics put it in the room clients see.

The width at the frame is what decides whether it fits your room. Newtowne does not publish the usable interior or entry height. Most adults stoop through the door and sit upright inside.
Operating pressure is 4 PSI, or 1.3 ATA, the same as every Newtowne Class 4 chamber. The Tent ships with the 120 L compressor, the internal pressure gauge, a folding chair, and a chair mat. It works with a 10 L oxygen concentrator through the included oxygen valve. Four accessory ports in total; the included oxygen valve uses one, leaving three. A power outage alarm is standard. Room, Power, and Setup
The frame is 64.5 inches wide, 62.5 long and 60.5 tall. Confirm the assembly and operating clearance above and around it with RecovAthlete before you order. Position the chamber and frame at least 3 ft from heat or open flame, in a cool room. Place the compressor 4 to 6 ft from the chamber with slack in the air hose. Pressure raises the inside temperature 5 to 10 F during a session.
Power is a standard grounded 120 V outlet. The compressor has no switch; you plug it in to start. First inflation takes 10 to 20 minutes. Newtowne supplies a manual, video training, and setup help by video call. Replace the compressor filter once a year.

SAFETY: READ BEFORE FIRST USE
- This chamber pressurizes with room air only. Never pressurize it with oxygen. An optional concentrator delivers oxygen through the mask or cannula.
- Keep the compressor running for the whole session. If power stops or the air hose disconnects, open the deflate valve, depressurize, and exit immediately.
- Do not bring electrical or static-producing devices inside unless Newtowne specifically authorizes them.
- Do not open the zippers until the chamber material is no longer rigid.
- No solvents, alcohol, bleach, adhesives, or sealants on the chamber. They void the warranty.
- Inspect the zippers within 7 days of delivery and report any fault to RecovAthlete then.

FDA STATUS
OxyRevo chambers are CE certified and UKCA verified, but not FDA cleared for medical use in the United States. They are designed for wellness and recovery applications. If you need an FDA cleared chamber, call us and we will point you to the models that carry that clearance.
Full FDA and medical disclaimer
The FDA clears soft chambers only up to 1.3 ATA for altitude sickness. Using any chamber for wellness or recovery is off-label use: legal, but not FDA evaluated. Chambers at 1.4 to 2.0 ATA are typically Class II devices requiring a prescription and PVHO-1 compliance in the U.S.

Every OxyRevo chamber we sell is CE certified and UKCA verified
OxyRevo chambers are made by Zhuji Belecon Health Technology Co., Ltd. The manufacturer holds 21 certification and test documents covering the chambers, compressors, tanks and inflatable bags. RecovAthlete has been an authorized OxyRevo dealer since 2023 and sells 11 models in the US. Certificates are issued to the manufacturer and cover the full range, including models we do not stock.
CE certification (issued by Ente Certificazione Macchine, Italy) covers European machinery, electrical and pressure equipment safety rules. UKCA verification (ICR Polska) covers the equivalent UK regulations. ISO 13485:2016 is the medical-device quality standard. EMC testing confirms no interference with home electronics, and RoHS and REACH testing confirms the foam, seals and fabric contain no restricted chemicals.
