    Best For
    • Instructors who want tower work without buying a full Cadillac
    • Studios with moderate ceilings where a Trapeze Table will not fit
    • PT clinics adding overhead spring work for shoulder and spinal rehab
    • Instructors outgrowing a standalone reformer, one frame instead of two
    Not Ideal For
    • Anyone who needs the trapeze swing. This tower has none. Buy the Reformer Combo
    • Rooms under 7 ft ceiling. The tower stands 74.9" before clearance
    • Buyers who only run reformer classes. The BASI Systems Reformer costs less
    • Price-first buyers. This is a hand-built beech frame
    Why RecovAthlete Carries This

The Reformer with Tower is the most common upgrade for instructors who started on a standalone reformer. It closes the gap between a basic setup and a full studio without doubling the floor space. For PT clinics and boutique studios it is usually the right balance between repertoire depth and square footage.

What the BASI Reformer with Tower Does

    • Reformer, tower and raised mat in one frame. The Twin Mat Conversion turns the carriage into a mat platform. Converts to a Reformer Combo later.
    • EPS pulleys on the tower. Spring positions move across the height and width of the tower frame. Push-through bar height adjusts too.
    • 13 springs. 5 on the reformer (3 red, 1 yellow, 1 blue) plus 8 on the tower (2 yellow, 2 long yellow, 2 blue, 2 red).
    • 3-level gear bar. Each gear step adds 3 to 4% resistance, finer than swapping a spring mid-exercise.
    • Longest and widest carriage in the category. Tall clients finish the movement instead of running out of rail.
    • Four F2 ports and silicon wheels. Upgrade later, reposition without a crew.

Reformer with Tower vs Reformer vs Reformer Combo

Three ways into the BASI system. The tower is the middle step, and the difference is the trapeze.

Dimension Reformer with Tower BASI Reformer Reformer Combo
Tower Full vertical tower, no trapeze Half tower with EPS Full tower with trapeze swing
    Springs 13 5 17
    Height 74.9" 39.4" 76.7"
    Weight 224.8 lb 197.3 lb 317.4 lb
    Price $9,950 $6,850 $11,900
Best for Push-through and roll-down bar work, no room for a Cadillac Group classes and fleet studios Full classical repertoire, one apparatus slot
    → Swipe the table sideways

One honest limitation. The tower is not a Cadillac. You get the push-through bar, the roll-down bar and eight tower springs, but no trapeze swing and no full mat table. The Reformer Combo adds the trapeze and four more springs for $1,800 more. If the trapeze repertoire matters to your teaching, pay the $1,800. If it does not, this frame gives you most of the programming for less money and less ceiling.

Common Questions About the BASI Reformer with Tower

How much does the BASI Reformer with Tower cost?

The BASI Systems Reformer with Tower is $9,950 plus freight. For reference, the BASI Systems Reformer is $6,850 and the Reformer Combo is $11,900. So the tower costs $3,150 over the plain reformer, and the trapeze on the Combo costs $1,800 over this. Financing runs through Affirm, Brickhouse Capital, Reliant Capital and Acorn Finance. Multi-unit studio pricing: call 866-861-6317.

Does the tower replace a Cadillac?

Partly. The tower gives you push-through bar, roll-down bar and eight tower springs, which covers most of the Cadillac spring repertoire. It does not include the trapeze swing or the full mat table. For the complete classical Cadillac work, see the BASI Cadillac or the Reformer Combo.

How is this different from the Reformer Combo?

The Reformer Combo adds the trapeze swing and four more springs, and stands 76.7" against this frame's 74.9". Everything else, the carriage, the EPS pulleys, the gear bar, the beech frame, is the same. If you want the trapeze, buy the Combo. If you do not, this saves you money and ceiling.

Can I upgrade this to full Cadillac functionality later?

Yes. The frame converts to a Reformer Combo. The four F2 ports are built in from day one, so the frame is not a dead end. Call 866-861-6317 and we will price the conversion.

What is the Twin Mat Conversion?

Two mats that sit over the carriage and frame, turning the reformer into a raised mat platform. It is included in the box. Mat programming on the same footprint, no second apparatus.

What ceiling height do I need?

The tower and footbar stand 74.9" (6 ft 3 in). Plan a minimum 7 ft ceiling, and 8 ft for comfortable overhead work. Extension legs raise the frame further if you order them.

    Is assembly required?

Yes. Plan two people and roughly 45 to 60 minutes. No specialist tools. Silicon wheels let one person reposition the frame afterwards. The manual (PDF) covers the procedure.

    Is financing available?

Yes. Affirm, Brickhouse Capital, Reliant Capital and Acorn Finance are available at checkout. Multi-unit commercial orders: call 866-861-6317.

    Shipping, Delivery and Installation

    • Standard shipping is curbside, 10 to 12 weeks. The carrier brings it as close to your door as the site allows, provided there are no obstacles at delivery.
    • White glove delivery is available. This adds inside delivery to the room of your choice. Call 866-861-6317 for a white glove quote before ordering.
    • Installation service is available at $299. A technician assembles and sets up the apparatus so it is ready to use.

Inspect every box before you sign. Damage or a missing box must be noted on the Proof of Delivery at the time of delivery and claimed within 5 business days. Call 866-861-6317 while the driver is still there if anything looks wrong.

    Financing by Equipment Category

Every page below has real prices, real monthly payment examples, and the lender comparison for that category. Pick the one you are buying.

    Building a Recovery Room?

Most business buyers are not buying one machine. They are building a room. Sauna, cold plunge, red light, vibration, hyperbaric, cryotherapy, and halotherapy all finance on the same paper through the same four lenders, and RecovAthlete quotes every category on one purchase order.

That means one freight schedule, one install window, and one financing application instead of six. It also gets you a better rate, because a bigger number on one application beats six small ones with six hard inquiries.

See commercial recovery equipment financing, or call 866-861-6317 and we will price the room.

Which Lender Should You Apply With?

Lender Type Amount Speed Best for
Affirm Consumer, at checkout Order total Seconds Personal purchases. 0% to 36% APR based on credit. Soft check to prequalify.
Brickhouse Capital Direct equipment lender Up to $250K on a one-page application, $1M+ with financials ~24 hours A full room or a full floor. Credit decisions made in-house. Tied to the business, not your personal credit report.
Reliant Capital Lender and broker Up to $500K application-only, $5M with financials 2 to 4 hours Medical, aesthetic, and wellness. Deferred payment options. New or used equipment.
Acorn Finance Lending marketplace $1,000 to $100,000 60 seconds to prequalify Comparing offers. One application goes to 30 or more lenders with no impact to your score.
KWIPPED (APPROVE) Lender marketplace Minimum $1,500 equipment value 60-second application Larger commercial orders. Lenders compete, which usually returns the best APR. Businesses only.

    Financing Questions

    What are Affirm's rates?

Pay in 4 splits the purchase into four interest-free payments charged every two weeks. Monthly installments spread the cost over a longer term, with rates from 0% to 36% APR depending on your credit profile. You see the exact terms before you agree to anything. No origination fees, no prepayment penalty, no late fees.

Will applying hurt my credit score?

Prequalification does not. Affirm and Acorn Finance both run a soft check to show you offers, which has no impact on your score. Proceeding with a monthly installment plan or a business loan may involve a hard inquiry. That is why it pays to prequalify with more than one lender first and only proceed with the best offer.

Can I finance equipment for a business?

Yes, and for most business buyers it is the better route. Brickhouse funds up to $250,000 on a one-page application with no financial statements. Reliant approves in 2 to 4 hours. Business financing is usually tied to the business rather than your personal credit report, and financed equipment can qualify for a Section 179 deduction. Confirm the tax position with your accountant.

Should I finance each machine separately?

No. This is the most common and most expensive mistake. Separate applications mean separate hard inquiries, separate payments, and a worse rate on each, because every individual ticket is small. Get one quote from RecovAthlete covering everything you are buying, including freight, and put that single number on one application.

Does Section 179 apply to financed equipment?

Financed equipment can qualify. Section 179 lets US businesses deduct the cost of qualifying equipment in the year it is placed in service, and financing the purchase does not by itself disqualify it. The equipment must be in service, not merely ordered, within the tax year. Annual limits and eligibility rules are set by the IRS and change year to year, so consult your accountant.

Can freight and installation be financed?

Freight, yes. On Affirm it is part of the order total at checkout. On business financing, put freight on the RecovAthlete quote and the whole quote amount goes on the application. Installation and room construction are harder, because some equipment lenders will not fund non-equipment costs. Ask the lender before you sign.

    Can I pay off early?

Yes. Affirm charges no prepayment penalties. Acorn Finance and most business lenders also allow early payoff without penalty.

    Not sure which option fits?

Tell us what you are buying and whether it is personal or for a business. We will point you at the right two lenders and quote freight and install as one number, which is also the number that goes on the application.

    Best For
    • Instructors who want tower work without buying a full Cadillac
    • Studios with moderate ceilings where a Trapeze Table will not fit
    • PT clinics adding overhead spring work for shoulder and spinal rehab
    • Instructors outgrowing a standalone reformer, one frame instead of two
    Not Ideal For
    • Anyone who needs the trapeze swing. This tower has none. Buy the Reformer Combo

    • Buyers who only run reformer classes. The BASI Systems Reformer costs less
    • Price-first buyers. This is a hand-built beech frame
    Why RecovAthlete Carries This
