Shipping & Returns Policy for BASI Pilates Equipment

Shipping Policy

We ship BASI Pilates products within the continental United States (lower 48 states only).

We do not ship to PO Boxes, freight forwarders, military addresses, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or Alaska.

Order Processing

• Orders for in-stock items are processed within 3–5 business days.
• Delays may occur during holidays or supplier backlogs.

Shipping Method

• All shipments are curbside delivery by default.
• You are responsible for moving the shipment from the curb to your location and for assembly.

Freight Shipping

• Larger or heavier items ship via freight.
• If a liftgate isn't available, you may be asked to assist in offloading.
• Freight carriers will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment.

Tracking Info

• Tracking is emailed within 24 hours of the order leaving the warehouse.

Returns Policy

Returns are accepted on eligible items within 30 days of your order date.

To qualify for a return:

• The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as the one received.
• Items that don't meet these conditions are not eligible for refund.

Return Fees

• 20% restocking fee
• 3% credit card processing fee
• Return shipping is paid by the customer (for non-damaged items)

Return Instructions

Size or Fit Issues

Damage on Delivery

If your item arrives damaged:

BASI Pilates Equipment – Limited Warranty Policy (RecovAthlete)

Limited Warranty Statement

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and depending on your state, you may also have other rights.

We stand behind the quality of our BASI Pilates products. We warrant that your product will be free from defects in materials and artistry during the warranty period. If a defect arises, our responsibility is limited to repair, replacement, or refund, as explained below.

Unless prohibited by law, this Limited Warranty replaces all other warranties—oral or written, express or implied. This includes warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. If your state doesn’t allow these exclusions, some limitations may not apply to you.

Warranty Coverage

Our comprehensive warranty applies to all BASI Systems Pilates equipment purchased through RecovAthlete, providing you with peace of mind from the invoice date of your original purchase.

To qualify for warranty service:

• The product must be used only for Pilates exercises.
• It must be properly maintained according to BASI Systems’ safety and care guidelines.
• The issue must be due to a manufacturing or material defect.
• Damage must not result from misuse, neglect, water, fire, chemicals, modifications, unauthorized repairs, or improper storage.
• The original purchaser must make the claim with valid proof of purchase.
• Any missing or damaged items must be noted on the delivery document at the time of delivery and reported within five business days.

Warranty Periods

• Main wooden frames and structural wood components are covered for ten years.
• Steel and aluminum components, F2 systems, springs, fasteners, and plastic parts are covered for two years.
• Elastomer-coated parts like footbars, handbars, pedals, stoppers, handles, and wheels are covered for one year.
• Pilates mats, upholstered parts, and all fabric accessories are covered for ninety days.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

• Any use of the equipment outside of Pilates practice.
• Normal wear and tear, including scratches, fading, or stains.
• Damage caused by improper cleaning, exposure to sunlight, heat, moisture, or chemicals.
• Continued use of damaged parts.
• Equipment that has been resold or transferred to another owner.
• Springs that are not replaced every two years or after 3,000 hours of use—whichever comes first.

Limitation of Liability

This warranty is the only remedy that overrides any other guarantees or warranties. RecovAthlete and BASI Systems are not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages related to the use of this product.
