BASI Reformer with Tower: Tower Repertoire Without Buying a Cadillac

You get push-through bar and roll-down bar work in a room that will not take a Trapeze Table. That is the trade this frame makes. Spring positions move across the full height and width of the tower rather than dropping into presets, so you set the machine to the client. The Twin Mat Conversion turns the carriage into a raised mat platform, so one frame runs reformer work, tower work and mat work in a single session. The BASI Systems Reformer with Tower is a Pilates reformer with a full vertical tower on the same solid beech frame, for studios and physical therapy clinics that want the tower repertoire without the footprint or the ceiling height a Cadillac demands.

✓ RecovAthlete is an authorized dealer for BASI Systems. All orders include factory warranty and direct manufacturer support.

    The Promise

A standalone reformer runs out of repertoire once you want push-through and roll-down bar work. The obvious answer, a Trapeze Table, needs floor space and ceiling height most rooms do not have, and buying both apparatus doubles your footprint and your spend. This frame is the third option: reformer, full tower and raised mat work on one footprint, in a room with a 7 ft ceiling.

IMPORTANT: THIS TOWER HAS NO TRAPEZE

You get the push-through bar, the roll-down bar and eight tower springs. You do not get the trapeze swing or a full mat table. If the trapeze repertoire matters to how you teach, buy the BASI Reformer Combo instead. This is the single most common mistake buyers make on this frame, and it is not returnable once it is built.

    Why Buy This From RecovAthlete

You can find a cheaper reformer. You cannot buy this one cheaper, because BASI sets the price and every authorized dealer holds it. What changes is what comes with the transaction.

    • We work out whether you actually need the trapeze before you order, so you do not buy this frame and then discover you wanted the Combo. It is made to order and non-returnable.
    • We check your ceiling height against the 74.9" tower before you commit.
    • Authorized dealer, so the factory warranty is valid and BASI supports the unit directly. Grey-market frames often are not covered.
    • White glove delivery is available as a paid add-on. The crew brings it into the room of your choice and removes the packaging, instead of leaving 225 lb at the curb.
    • Financing through Affirm, Brickhouse Capital, Reliant Capital and Acorn Finance. Multi-unit studio pricing on 866-861-6317.

The specs back that up. Thirteen springs cover both stations out of the box: five on the reformer (3 red, 1 yellow, 1 blue) and eight on the tower (2 yellow, 2 long yellow, 2 blue, 2 red). The patented Enhanced Pulley System runs across the height and width of the tower frame, and the push-through bar height adjusts, so one bar works for a 5'2" and a 6'4" client. The 3-level gear bar moves carriage resistance 3 to 4% per step instead of a whole spring. The carriage is 27.5" by 31.2" on the longest track in the category, and the frame is solid beech with aircraft-grade aluminum tracks, 224.8 lb, which is what keeps it quiet and flex-free under loaded spring work.

Assembly is required: two people, roughly 45 to 60 minutes, no specialist tools. No power is needed. Plan a room at least 12 feet long and 10 feet wide, with a 7 ft ceiling minimum and 8 ft for comfortable overhead work, because the tower and footbar stand 74.9" and the frame occupies 107.3" by 28.5". It works on its own and with the F2 System and extension leg sets, both sold separately. Four F2 ports are built in, so the frame converts down to a plain reformer or up to a Reformer Combo later. Springs are wear parts and BASI requires replacement every 2 years or 3,000 hours of use, whichever comes first.

    Best For
    • Instructors who want tower work without buying a full Cadillac
    • Studios with moderate ceilings where a Trapeze Table will not fit
    • PT clinics adding overhead spring work for shoulder and spinal rehabilitation
    • Instructors outgrowing a standalone reformer, one frame instead of two
    • Buyers who want an upgrade path to the trapeze later, not a dead end
    Not Ideal For
    • Anyone who needs the trapeze swing. This tower has none
    • Rooms under a 7 ft ceiling. The tower stands 74.9" before clearance
    • Studios running reformer classes only. The BASI Systems Reformer costs less and does that job
    • Buyers who need a full mat table. That is the BASI Cadillac

The Reformer with Tower is the most common upgrade for instructors who started on a standalone reformer. It closes the gap between a basic setup and a full studio without doubling the floor space, and for PT clinics and boutique studios it is usually the right balance between repertoire depth and square footage.

    Benefits and Features

What you get The feature behind it
Run reformer, tower and mat work in one session without changing rooms. Twin Mat Conversion included, turning the carriage into a raised mat platform. Three modes on one frame.
Put the spring exactly where the exercise needs it. Enhanced Pulley System across the full height and width of the tower frame, plus a height-adjustable push-through bar.
Load both stations from day one. 13 springs: 5 on the reformer, 8 on the tower, with 14 carabiners.
Progress a client by a step they can actually hold. 3-level gear bar, 3 to 4% resistance per step on the carriage.
Teach a 6'2" client the same repertoire as a 5'2" client. 27.5" by 31.2" carriage on the longest track in the category.
Add the trapeze in year three without buying a second frame. Four F2 System ports built in. Converts down to a plain reformer or up to a Reformer Combo.

Who Buys the BASI Reformer with Tower

    • Instructors upgrading from a standalone reformer. One frame replaces the need for a second apparatus.
    • PT and rehab clinics. Overhead spring work for shoulder and spinal protocols, on a footprint a clinic room can absorb.
    • Boutique studios with ceiling limits. Tower repertoire in a room that will not take a Trapeze Table.
    • Home practitioners with a dedicated room. One purchase, three modes, an upgrade path.
    • Multi-unit buyers. Call 866-861-6317 for studio pricing and freight consolidation.
    BEFORE YOU ORDER

The frame ships with the tower, Twin Mat Conversion, push-through bar, roll-down bar, 13 springs and the full handle and strap set. Extension leg sets and the trapeze swing are not included. Assembly is required. Confirm your ceiling: 7 ft minimum, 8 ft comfortable.

Reformer with Tower, Reformer or Combo

Three ways into the BASI system, and the difference is the trapeze. The BASI Systems Reformer has a half tower and the smallest footprint. This frame adds a full vertical tower with push-through and roll-down bar work. The Reformer Combo adds the trapeze swing and four more springs on top of that, and stands slightly taller. Everything else, the carriage, the EPS pulleys, the gear bar, the beech frame, is shared. Side-by-side detail including the price steps between all three is in the Comparisons tab.

    Also Consider

Why This Is the One to Buy

This is the frame instructors buy when the reformer they started on stopped being enough, and it usually arrives at the point where a practice turns into a business. What changes day to day is that you stop turning work away. A shoulder rehabilitation client, a spinal case, a private who wants mat and tower in the same hour, all of it now happens on equipment you already own.

Not sure whether you need the trapeze? Call 866-861-6317, 9am to 6pm EST, Monday to Friday. That one question decides between this frame and the Combo, and it is worth ten minutes before you order.

Financing for Recovery and Fitness Equipment

Buying for yourself, spread the cost through Affirm at checkout. Buying for a gym, clinic, spa, or studio, apply with one of four business lenders and put the whole room on a single application.

RecovAthlete has no control over any financing decision. Approval is based on your creditworthiness and is solely the lender's decision.

    Personal purchase

Affirm at checkout. Rates run 0% to 36% APR based on your credit profile. Soft check to prequalify, so no impact on your score. No prepayment penalty.

    Business purchase

Brickhouse Capital, Reliant Capital, Acorn Finance, or KWIPPED. Apply with two of the four and compare. Financed equipment can qualify for a Section 179 deduction. Confirm with your accountant.

    Financing by Equipment Category

Every page below has real prices, real monthly payment examples, and the lender comparison for that category. Pick the one you are buying.

    Building a Recovery Room?

Most business buyers are not buying one machine. They are building a room. Sauna, cold plunge, red light, vibration, hyperbaric, cryotherapy, and halotherapy all finance on the same paper through the same four lenders, and RecovAthlete quotes every category on one purchase order.

That means one freight schedule, one install window, and one financing application instead of six. It also gets you a better rate, because a bigger number on one application beats six small ones with six hard inquiries.

See commercial recovery equipment financing, or call 866-861-6317 and we will price the room.

Which Lender Should You Apply With?

Lender Type Amount Speed Best for
Affirm Consumer, at checkout Order total Seconds Personal purchases. 0% to 36% APR based on credit. Soft check to prequalify.
Brickhouse Capital Direct equipment lender Up to $250K on a one-page application, $1M+ with financials ~24 hours A full room or a full floor. Credit decisions made in-house. Tied to the business, not your personal credit report.
Reliant Capital Lender and broker Up to $500K application-only, $5M with financials 2 to 4 hours Medical, aesthetic, and wellness. Deferred payment options. New or used equipment.
Acorn Finance Lending marketplace $1,000 to $100,000 60 seconds to prequalify Comparing offers. One application goes to 30 or more lenders with no impact to your score.
KWIPPED (APPROVE) Lender marketplace Minimum $1,500 equipment value 60-second application Larger commercial orders. Lenders compete, which usually returns the best APR. Businesses only.

Apply with two of the four and compare. It costs nothing and the spread between offers is often significant.

    Financing Questions

    What are Affirm's rates?

Pay in 4 splits the purchase into four interest-free payments charged every two weeks. Monthly installments spread the cost over a longer term, with rates from 0% to 36% APR depending on your credit profile. You see the exact terms before you agree to anything. No origination fees, no prepayment penalty, no late fees.

Will applying hurt my credit score?

Prequalification does not. Affirm and Acorn Finance both run a soft check to show you offers, which has no impact on your score. Proceeding with a monthly installment plan or a business loan may involve a hard inquiry. That is why it pays to prequalify with more than one lender first and only proceed with the best offer.

Can I finance equipment for a business?

Yes, and for most business buyers it is the better route. Brickhouse funds up to $250,000 on a one-page application with no financial statements. Reliant approves in 2 to 4 hours. Business financing is usually tied to the business rather than your personal credit report, and financed equipment can qualify for a Section 179 deduction. Confirm the tax position with your accountant.

Should I finance each machine separately?

No. This is the most common and most expensive mistake. Separate applications mean separate hard inquiries, separate payments, and a worse rate on each, because every individual ticket is small. Get one quote from RecovAthlete covering everything you are buying, including freight, and put that single number on one application.

Does Section 179 apply to financed equipment?

Financed equipment can qualify. Section 179 lets US businesses deduct the cost of qualifying equipment in the year it is placed in service, and financing the purchase does not by itself disqualify it. The equipment must be in service, not merely ordered, within the tax year. Annual limits and eligibility rules are set by the IRS and change year to year, so consult your accountant.

Can freight and installation be financed?

Freight, yes. On Affirm it is part of the order total at checkout. On business financing, put freight on the RecovAthlete quote and the whole quote amount goes on the application. Installation and room construction are harder, because some equipment lenders will not fund non-equipment costs. Ask the lender before you sign.

    Can I pay off early?

Yes. Affirm charges no prepayment penalties. Acorn Finance and most business lenders also allow early payoff without penalty.

    Not sure which option fits?

Tell us what you are buying and whether it is personal or for a business. We will point you at the right two lenders and quote freight and install as one number, which is also the number that goes on the application.

    Defective Equipment

Defective products must be returned to the BASI facility for inspection before repair or replacement. BASI equipment is made by hand, so slight blemishes and minor imperfections are expected and are not defects.
