BASI Systems Pilates Cadillac / Trapeze Table: Full-Apparatus Pilates for Instructors Who Won't Compromise

The BASI Systems Pilates Cadillac is the Trapeze Table built to the standard BASI-certified instructors train on and teach from. Hand-crafted from solid beech hardwood with aircraft-grade aluminum hardware, it delivers the spring precision, structural integrity, and adjustability that professional Pilates instruction demands. At 98.4 inches long with a mat surface larger than any other Cadillac on the market, this is the central apparatus of a serious Pilates studio, not a modified consumer piece.

✓ RecovAthlete is an authorized dealer for BASI Systems. All orders include factory warranty and direct manufacturer support.

IMPORTANT: Lead Time Before You Order

The standard Anthracite Grey ships in 2–3 weeks. Custom color options require up to 12 weeks for production. Plan your studio timeline accordingly before selecting a color. Call us at 866-861-6317 if you need to confirm availability before placing your order.

💳 Financing available through Affirm, Brickhouse Capital, Reliant Capital, and Acorn Finance. Ask about commercial terms for multi-unit studio orders — call 866-861-6317.

    Best For
    • BASI-certified instructors opening or expanding a studio
    • Physical therapists adding Cadillac-based rehab protocols
    • Pilates studios replacing an aging Trapeze Table
    • Serious home practitioners with a dedicated room (minimum 9 ft ceiling)
    • Commercial buyers who want BASI equipment to match their BASI certification
    Not Ideal For
    • First-time buyers with no Pilates background — a Cadillac without instruction delivers poor results
    • Rooms under 9 ft ceiling height (trapeze requires clearance)
    • Anyone comparing on price alone — this is professional-grade equipment priced accordingly
    • Buyers wanting a single compact home apparatus (see the BASI Wunda Chair)
    Why RecovAthlete Carries This

BASI Systems is the equipment division of Body Arts and Science International — the same organization that certifies thousands of Pilates instructors worldwide. Instructors trained in the BASI method know this equipment. They teach on it, they trust it, and when they open their own studios, they want it.

We carry the full BASI Systems lineup because our commercial buyers — PT clinics, boutique studios, and home practitioners with serious intentions — need equipment that holds its value, holds its spring tension, and holds up under daily use. The BASI Cadillac does all three.

    Who Buys the BASI Cadillac

    • New studio owners — buying the equipment they trained on, not settling for a cheaper substitute
    • PT and rehab clinics — adding Pilates modalities without compromising clinical-grade build quality
    • Established studios — replacing older Cadillacs that no longer hold spring tension consistently
    • High-conviction home buyers — building a dedicated home studio, one main apparatus at a time
    • Multi-unit B2B buyers — equipping multiple treatment rooms and need uniform equipment across locations

    What the BASI Cadillac Delivers

    • Full Trapeze Table repertoire: roll-down bar, push-through bar, trapeze swing, leg springs, arm springs — all in one apparatus
    • Aircraft-grade aluminum push-through bar and trapeze action: smooth, silent, consistent across thousands of repetitions
    • Industry's largest mat surface: more room per exercise, less repositioning, better cueing sight lines for instructors
    • Highly adjustable spring placement: set resistance at any position along the frame — not fixed to two or three presets
    • F2 System compatibility: upgrade or connect to other BASI Systems equipment without replacing the core apparatus
    • Extension legs included: adjust height for wheelchair transfers, tall clients, or specific teaching positions
    • Premium orthopedic cushioning with non-slip, antibacterial vinyl: durable under commercial use, hygienic for clinical settings

    Common Questions

What's the difference between a Cadillac and a Pilates Reformer?

A Reformer is a horizontal carriage-and-spring apparatus. A Cadillac (also called a Trapeze Table) is a flat mat table with vertical uprights that support overhead bars, springs, and a trapeze. Each apparatus trains a different range of the Pilates repertoire. Many serious practitioners and all full Pilates studios have both. The BASI Wood Pilates Reformer and the BASI Reformer with Tower are the natural companions to this Cadillac.

How much ceiling height do I need?

Plan for a minimum of 9 feet of ceiling clearance. The extension legs adjust the frame height up to 87 inches (7.25 ft) and the trapeze adds further height above that. If your ceiling is below 9 ft, contact us at 866-861-6317 before ordering to discuss configuration options.

Do I need to be BASI-certified to use this?

No certification is required to purchase. However, a Cadillac without Pilates instruction delivers limited results. This apparatus is most valuable in the hands of a trained practitioner or someone working directly with a certified instructor. If you're building a home practice, ask about pairing your purchase with local instruction.

    What color options are available?

Anthracite Grey is the standard color and ships in 2–3 weeks. Custom frame and upholstery color combinations are available but require up to 12 weeks production time. Contact us for current custom color options before placing your order.

Is the BASI Cadillac compatible with other BASI equipment?

Yes. The Cadillac includes four F2 System ports for future accessory integration. It pairs directly with the BASI Reformer with Tower and shares spring compatibility with the broader BASI lineup. The Extension Leg Sets are also BASI-compatible accessories that ship separately.

Can I use financing to purchase?

Yes. Financing options through Affirm, Brickhouse Capital, Reliant Capital, and Acorn Finance are available at checkout. Commercial buyers and studios purchasing multiple units can also request a quote for equipment financing terms. Call 866-861-6317 or use the consultation booking link to discuss options before ordering.

How is the Cadillac delivered and assembled?

Delivery is via white-glove freight carrier. The Cadillac ships assembled to the extent possible; extension leg installation and final setup requires basic assembly on-site. Most installations are completed in under an hour with two people. Inside delivery scope varies by carrier and location — confirm requirements when your order ships.

The BASI Systems Pilates Cadillac is the Trapeze Table built to the standard BASI-certified instructors train on and teach from.
