Align Pilates R8-Pro in White: Classic Reformer Geometry for Home Studios and Light Studio Use
The Align Pilates R8-Pro Reformer in White is a light commercial Pilates reformer for home studios and small practices. Align built it around the carriage, footbar and spring bar distances of Joseph Pilates's classic machines. On top of that it adds a patented Rapid Change spring bar, Pro Rope adjusters and an 8 wheel carriage.
R8 stands for Retro, 8 wheel. Silent ropes on height-adjustable risers replace classic leather straps, while the pulley position stays close to an original reformer.

R8-Pro Pilates Reformer Size, Capacity and Setup
The frame measures 97.6 x 26.4 x 9.1 in (248 x 67 x 23 cm). The carriage is 35.0 x 22.0 in (89 x 56 cm) and travels 38.4 in (97.5 cm). Align rates it for users up to 264.6 lb (120 kg). The machine itself weighs 130.3 lb (59.1 kg).
Four springs come fitted: two strong, one medium and one light, with space for a fifth. The frame is white steel on stainless steel runners. Align tests it to ISO 20957-1 Class S.
Align's warranty covers home use plus light commercial use of up to 20 hours a week. The R8-Pro is stackable, and it stands on end only with the optional jump board fitted. It does not fold. It arrives for assembly, and white glove delivery with in-room assembly is a paid add-on.
Check before ordering
Align's cover stops at 20 hours of use per week, per machine. A reformer on a full class timetable passes that quickly. Align also confirms the R8-Pro cannot take a Half Cadillac Tower, now or later.

- Users over 264.6 lb (120 kg). That is Align's published limit for the R8-Pro.
- Buyers who want a tower. Look at the C8-Pro with Half Cadillac instead.
- Rooms that need the machine folded away. The F3 Folding Reformer folds; the R8-Pro does not.
