Halotherapy Equipment

Halotherapy Solutions builds halogenerators, the machines that turn a closed room, cabin or booth into a salt room. The company reports more than 4,000 halogenerators sold in over 20 countries across 11 years. It says its HaloSauna, launched in 2019, was the first sauna to pair infrared heat with dry salt.

RecovAthlete is an authorized Halotherapy Solutions dealer, rated 4.8 on Google. This collection carries its halotherapy machines for sale, starting with the HaloMini, HaloGX Pro and HaloPod Mini. It also carries the HaloSauna salt sauna and the HaloRed Legacy salt booth. We order the HaloFX, HaloSauna PRO and HaloRed O2 by phone.

Which Halotherapy Machine Fits Your Space?

Here is how a halotherapy machine works. A halogenerator grinds salt crystals into micronized salt particles. It blows them into a controlled environment: a closed room, cabin or booth. The salty air recreates the dry environment of natural salt caves. That is why halotherapy is also called dry salt therapy. The ideal size depends on the space you already have.

    Salt room halogenerator

A room unit turns a closed room or cabin into a salt room. Professional units mount through the wall and sit outside the room, so each session draws fresh air.

    Portable salt therapy machine

A small unit sits beside you or inside a tent or pod. It needs no construction and packs away after each session.

    Salt sauna

This is a far infrared sauna cabin with a halogenerator built in. Far infrared heats the body directly, and the cabin adds aromatherapy and color lighting. The manufacturer adds a coating that protects the infrared parts from salt.

    Salt booth

A booth pairs dry salt with red light panels in one enclosure. It needs no plumbing, ships with seating and plays guided meditation over Bluetooth.

Which Halotherapy Solutions Model Is Right for You?

    Home use, no construction

The HaloPod Mini comes with a hose, mask, stand and tent. Set it up in a spare room or office, then fold it away.

    Closet or small cabin

The HaloMini suits a converted closet, a small cabin or a single treatment room. It uses about half a teaspoon of pharmaceutical-grade salt per 30-minute session.

    Dedicated salt room

The HaloGX Pro halogenerator serves a larger room and uses compressed-air technology. It has a turbo setting that raises salt output for a session. The same unit is built into the HaloSauna and HaloRed systems.

    Salt with heat

The HaloSauna comes in 1, 2 or 3 person sizes. It runs salt only, heated salt, salt with infrared, or infrared only. Preset sessions run 15, 20, 30 or 45 minutes. Compare it with our other infrared saunas.

    Wheelchair access or yoga

The HaloSauna 4 person ADA model has a 36 in door and a wheelchair ramp. The 4 person yoga model has removable benches.

    Salt with red light

The HaloRed Legacy uses deep red light at 630 to 660 nm. Its near infrared runs 830 to 1050 nm. We are approved to sell it mainly for home use. Ask us before buying it for a business. See our full red light therapy range.

    HaloSauna PRO

The 2026 upgrade to the salt sauna, in 1, 2, 3 and 4 person sizes. The 4 person model is wheelchair accessible, with a 67 in turning radius and a removable floor.

    HaloRed O2 salt booth

Adds an oxygen concentrator to salt and red light, so all three run in one session. It suits a wellness center or a home recovery room. It comes in 1, 2 and 3 person sizes plus a wheelchair-accessible model.

    HaloUno and HaloSTAR

The HaloUno is a one-person salt booth. The HaloSTAR is a freestanding salt cabin that seats several guests. Neither needs a room build.

    HaloFLEX portable

A battery-powered salt therapy device that runs 15-minute sessions. It works inside an infrared sauna. In a dry room it covers 65 sq ft from the floor, or 95 from a shelf.

    HaloFLEX Pod and Sauna

The HaloFLEX Pod is a personal enclosure for home sessions. The HaloFLEX Sauna pairs the portable unit with an infrared sauna.

What to Plan Before You Buy

    Wall mounting

The HaloGX Pro needs a wall opening about 2.2 x 4.3 in, roughly 60 in off the floor. The unit sits outside the salt room.

    Power

The halogenerators run on 110 V or 230 V. The HaloRed Legacy needs a 20 A or 30 A circuit by size, which usually means an electrician.

    Clearance

Leave about 2 ft beside a HaloSauna or HaloRed Legacy for its halogenerator. Add this to the table size.

    Warranty

The manufacturer lists a limited lifetime warranty on its halogenerators. It adds 5 years on the HaloSauna cabin and 3 years on the HaloRed red light panels.

    Installation time

The manufacturer says a HaloSauna normally installs in about 90 minutes. The PRO takes 90 to 120 minutes, and staff training is included.

    Maintenance and humidity

Salt delivery needs dry air, because humidity makes salt particles clump. The manufacturer says its units are easy to operate. Most HaloFX owners clean theirs about once a month.

    Particle size

Halotherapy Solutions says its units grind salt to about 0.1 to 2 microns. It reports over 94% of particles under 1.1 microns with its SaltPerfect milling.

    Health questions

We sell these units as wellness equipment and make no treatment claims. Halotherapy does not replace prescribed medical treatment. Ask your physician first if you have a lung or breathing condition.

    Halogenerator and Halotherapy Questions

    What is a halogenerator?

A halogenerator grinds dry salt into fine particles and releases them into a closed room, cabin or booth. It is the part that turns an ordinary room into a salt room.

How can I do halotherapy at home?

The HaloPod Mini runs in a one-person tent with no construction. The HaloMini turns a closet or small cabin up to 50 sq ft into a salt room. The HaloFLEX runs inside an infrared sauna you already own.

Where can I buy a halogenerator for home use?

RecovAthlete sells the full Halotherapy Solutions range as an authorized dealer. Match a unit to your room with the table above. Call for models not yet listed.

How much does a halogenerator or halotherapy sauna cost?

The room and portable halogenerators are the entry point in this range. The HaloSauna and HaloRed booths cost more, and price rises with size. Prices change often, so each product page shows the current price.

What do you do during halotherapy?

In a halotherapy session you sit, relax and breathe normally in a calm space. The fine salt is inhaled and settles on the skin. Booths and salt saunas play guided meditation over Bluetooth for relaxation.

How long should you sit in a salt room?

Session length can vary by unit. The HaloSauna has preset sessions of 15, 20, 30 or 45 minutes. A HaloFLEX session typically runs 15 minutes.

What kind of salt is used for halotherapy?

Halogenerators use dry, pharmaceutical-grade salt. The HaloMini uses about half a teaspoon per 30-minute session.

Can I add a halogenerator to my existing sauna?

Not a room halogenerator. The manufacturer says salt can damage a standard sauna's electronics over time. The portable HaloFLEX is the exception. It is suitable for infrared saunas, not steam rooms or humid traditional saunas.

    Who should not do halotherapy?

Ask your physician first if you have a lung or breathing condition, or any ongoing health condition. We sell these units as wellness equipment. They are not FDA approved or cleared, and we make no treatment claims.
