Measure with the incline at its lowest level. Total Gym also asks for 0.6 m (1.96 ft) clear at each side, at least 104 inches from the bolt holes to a walkway behind, and 3 feet between the rear base and any wall or walkway.
Your floor type, the room's length and width, the narrowest door or turn on the route, and your delivery ZIP code.
Your patient is not ready to land a jump on the floor. On the Total Gym RS LEX Jump Trainer, they lie back on an angled glideboard and squat or jump against 50% to 80% of their bodyweight. A pneumatic brake keeps each flight short, so they build up to explosive work one level at a time.
The RS LEX is part of Total Gym's Recovery Series. Total Gym designed it for commercial use: physical therapy clinics, athletic training rooms and gyms. It sits with the rest of our Total Gym equipment, and it is not meant for a home gym.
Total Gym requires the RS LEX bolted to a flat, solid floor by a professional installer. Without the bolts, the machine moves during use. Floor bolts are not in the box, so you source ones that suit your floor.
In use, the RS LEX measures 104 x 33 x 68 inches and needs 22 square feet of floor. It needs rear clearance for the glideboard, so check the measuring steps on the Before You Order tab first.
It ships as freight on one pallet weighing 325 lbs. Total Gym's US commercial warranty covers the frame for 5 years.
We are an authorized Total Gym dealer, so the commercial warranty is valid. We check your floor, room and route before the order goes in.
Personal and business financing, in the United States and Canada. Personal buyers can use the options at checkout. Clinics and facilities can finance the RS LEX as equipment. Ask us for current rates and terms.
Ask us for the current lead time and the delivered price to your ZIP code, or book a 30-minute call to plan your room.
These goals are Total Gym's own statements, not outcome promises. A clinician sets any rehab plan.

Sold separately: floor anchor bolts to suit your floor. The hardware kit includes the 4 mm and 5 mm hex keys and 17 mm and 13 mm wrenches for assembly. For later roller service, the guide says you supply a 13 mm socket wrench and a 13 mm open-end wrench.
Replacement bands, rollers and other parts for the RS LEX are available from us at any time.
Transit damage is not a warranty claim. It goes through the carrier claim process. The Total Gym warranty covers manufacturing defects found after delivery.
Outside the US, warranty terms may vary. Contact your local authorized Total Gym distributor.

Total Gym publishes the same frame, capacity and resistance figures for both machines. The RS LEX belongs to the Recovery Series, and Total Gym lists the Slide Distance Regulator as included with it. The Comparison tab sets the two side by side.
Total Gym says the varying incline lets a patient who cannot jump work up to it gradually. They start with partial-bodyweight squats and move to squat jumps later. The treating clinician decides when each patient is ready.
No. The owner's guide says not to leave clinical patients unattended on Total Gym equipment. It also calls for close supervision when injured or disabled people use the machine.
Total Gym designed and intended the RS LEX for commercial use. It also has to be bolted to the floor by a professional installer. For a home setting, talk to us about other Total Gym models first.

To add resistance, raise the rails to the level you want. To reduce it, lift the rails slightly, push the incline release lever down, then lower the rails to the new level.
The four bands sit beneath the bottom of the glideboard. Pull each knob down and hook it to the rack, and never do this while someone is on the machine. Detach the bands after each use to make them last. The bands contain natural latex, which can cause allergies in some people.
Release the safety lock and move the glideboard about 1 inch above the lowest point you want it to reach. Hold it there, unscrew the regulator knob and pull it out. Slide it toward the glideboard as far as it goes, let go of the knob, then move it down the right rail into one of the 12 positions. Tighten the knob before exercising.
Total Gym specifies two-person assembly, with the hardware kit grouped by step. The guide says some screws can loosen after the first day of use as parts settle. Retighten them once, which is usually enough.
Wipe the padded surfaces after each use and check that the glideboard rolls smoothly. Each week, clean the rails with a non-corrosive cleaner that has no alkaline or alcohol, and check screws and pads. Each month, inspect the rollers, rubber stoppers and bands. Never use lubricant or silicone on the rails or wheels, because the wheels will slide instead of roll.
Total Gym needs a Return Merchandise Authorization number before it accepts any part back. Keep the shipping boxes until the RS LEX is fully assembled, and photograph any damaged boxes before opening them. We help you start the claim.
The owner's guide is on the Manuals tab as a 16-page PDF from Total Gym, next to the one-page product sheet.

Buying for yourself, spread the cost through Affirm at checkout. Buying for a gym, clinic, spa, or studio, apply with one of four business lenders and put the whole room on a single application.
RecovAthlete has no control over any financing decision. Approval is based on your creditworthiness and is solely the lender's decision.
Affirm at checkout. Rates run 0% to 36% APR based on your credit profile. Soft check to prequalify, so no impact on your score. No prepayment penalty.
Brickhouse Capital, Reliant Capital, Acorn Finance, or KWIPPED. Apply with two of the four and compare. Financed equipment can qualify for a Section 179 deduction. Confirm with your accountant.
Every page below has real prices, real monthly payment examples, and the lender comparison for that category. Pick the one you are buying.
Most business buyers are not buying one machine. They are building a room. Sauna, cold plunge, red light, vibration, hyperbaric, cryotherapy, and halotherapy all finance on the same paper through the same four lenders, and RecovAthlete quotes every category on one purchase order.
That means one freight schedule, one install window, and one financing application instead of six. It also gets you a better rate, because a bigger number on one application beats six small ones with six hard inquiries.
See commercial recovery equipment financing, or call 866-861-6317 and we will price the room.
| Lender | Type | Amount | Speed | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Affirm | Consumer, at checkout | Order total | Seconds | Personal purchases. 0% to 36% APR based on credit. Soft check to prequalify. |
| Brickhouse Capital | Direct equipment lender | Up to $250K on a one-page application, $1M+ with financials | ~24 hours | A full room or a full floor. Credit decisions made in-house. Tied to the business, not your personal credit report. |
| Reliant Capital | Lender and broker | Up to $500K application-only, $5M with financials | 2 to 4 hours | Medical, aesthetic, and wellness. Deferred payment options. New or used equipment. |
| Acorn Finance | Lending marketplace | $1,000 to $100,000 | 60 seconds to prequalify | Comparing offers. One application goes to 30 or more lenders with no impact to your score. |
| KWIPPED (APPROVE) | Lender marketplace | Minimum $1,500 equipment value | 60-second application | Larger commercial orders. Lenders compete, which usually returns the best APR. Businesses only. |
Apply with two of the four and compare. It costs nothing and the spread between offers is often significant.

Pay in 4 splits the purchase into four interest-free payments charged every two weeks. Monthly installments spread the cost over a longer term, with rates from 0% to 36% APR depending on your credit profile. You see the exact terms before you agree to anything. No origination fees, no prepayment penalty, no late fees.
Prequalification does not. Affirm and Acorn Finance both run a soft check to show you offers, which has no impact on your score. Proceeding with a monthly installment plan or a business loan may involve a hard inquiry. That is why it pays to prequalify with more than one lender first and only proceed with the best offer.
Yes, and for most business buyers it is the better route. Brickhouse funds up to $250,000 on a one-page application with no financial statements. Reliant approves in 2 to 4 hours. Business financing is usually tied to the business rather than your personal credit report, and financed equipment can qualify for a Section 179 deduction. Confirm the tax position with your accountant.
No. This is the most common and most expensive mistake. Separate applications mean separate hard inquiries, separate payments, and a worse rate on each, because every individual ticket is small. Get one quote from RecovAthlete covering everything you are buying, including freight, and put that single number on one application.
Financed equipment can qualify. Section 179 lets US businesses deduct the cost of qualifying equipment in the year it is placed in service, and financing the purchase does not by itself disqualify it. The equipment must be in service, not merely ordered, within the tax year. Annual limits and eligibility rules are set by the IRS and change year to year, so consult your accountant.
Freight, yes. On Affirm it is part of the order total at checkout. On business financing, put freight on the RecovAthlete quote and the whole quote amount goes on the application. Installation and room construction are harder, because some equipment lenders will not fund non-equipment costs. Ask the lender before you sign.
Yes. Affirm charges no prepayment penalties. Acorn Finance and most business lenders also allow early payoff without penalty.
Tell us what you are buying and whether it is personal or for a business. We will point you at the right two lenders and quote freight and install as one number, which is also the number that goes on the application.
