For most backyards, yes. A cube gives more usable headroom and a flat floor than a barrel of the same footprint, and the flat glass front opens up the view. A barrel can cost less and shed rain off its curve, but you lose standing room.

SaunaLife saunas are designed by SaunaLife and made in Northern Europe. The CL4G ships from that factory, and replacement parts are available direct years after purchase.

Sometimes. It depends on the sauna's size, location, foundation and heater type. Small detached saunas are permit-exempt in some areas, but new 240V wiring, wood-burning heaters, setbacks from property lines, and HOA rules can still need approval. Check with your local building department before you install.

Yes, for the CL4G. A traditional 6kW electric heater needs a 220 to 240V hardwired line on a dedicated breaker, run by a licensed electrician and sized to the heater. A separate 120V line powers the lighting and controls. Plan both before your sauna arrives.

It is built for outdoor use with a weatherproof roof, but it can go in a garage, basement or covered patio if ventilation is adequate and the heater has proper clearance from anything flammable.

The CL4G carries a limited lifetime warranty for residential use, covering the cabin structure and non-electrical parts against defects in workmanship. It applies to the original purchaser. It does not cover normal wear, natural weathering or discoloration of the wood, or delivery and installation costs. SaunaLife repairs or replaces a defective part at its choice.

Wipe benches down after each use. Deep clean the interior monthly with a sauna wood cleaner. Treat the exterior once a year with odorless sauna wood oil or wax. Check the drip rails and roof shingles twice a year.
