Peak Pilates MVe Reformer: The Studio Machine That Nests Four High
A studio room has to hold reformers and then stop holding them, often within the same hour. The Peak Pilates MVe Reformer is built for that. It is a powder-coated aluminum Pilates reformer on a 103.6 in frame, and four nest together with nothing removed, so you can clear the room between classes. Peak says the MVe offers "the features and quality of the finest professional studio reformers," and sets no home-only restriction on it, unlike the casa. It is also the only Peak reformer with a tower path: the MVe Tower Conversion is sold separately and fits this frame.

Important: the MVe is the largest of the three metal reformers
The MVe is 103.6 in by 28.6 in, over half a foot longer and nearly four inches wider than the fit Reformer and casa Reformer at 97 in by 25 in. Peak also requires three feet clear on all sides, on a level floor. Add that to the frame and you need roughly 15 ft by 8 ft 6 in of unobstructed floor. Measure first. Peak does not accept returns on reformers.

The Numbers Behind It

Peak asks for a full spring change once per year. Shoulder pads fold on release levers, risers drop on pull pins, lift handles retract, which is what lets units nest with nothing stripped off.
Storage, Moving and Assembly
Peak states the MVe stacks "without removal of any parts," and caps the stack at four high. The foot end leg carries wheels for repositioning, but lifting and stacking take two people on the retractable lift handles. Peak does not document standing the MVe on its end.

How much room does the Peak Pilates MVe Reformer need?
The frame is 103.6 in by 28.6 in. Peak requires three feet clear on all sides, on a level floor, which works out at 175.6 in by 100.6 in, or roughly 15 ft by 8 ft 6 in of unobstructed floor. If the room is tighter, the fit Reformer is 97 in by 25 in.
Does the MVe Reformer really stack four high?
Yes, up to four high. All four stacking bumpers on the upper unit must contact the rails below before another goes on. Two people, one at each end, on the retractable lift handles.
Can I add a tower to the MVe later?
Yes, and the MVe is the only Peak metal reformer where you can. The MVe Tower Conversion, part 4710-2409, retrofits onto the frame, or take the MVe Reformer and Tower on one order. The tower stands 72 in, so check ceiling height.
What is the weight limit on the MVe Reformer?
300 lb. Peak also gives a machine weight of 135 lb. That matches the fit Reformer and is 50 lb above the casa.
Can the MVe be used with beginners and in supervised rehabilitation settings?
Five spring settings allow light resistance, a single blue spring being the least the machine offers, and the four-position gear change bar adjusts carriage travel for different users. Peak recommends qualified instruction when using the reformer. Unlike the casa, Peak places no setting restriction on the MVe.
How does it arrive and who assembles it?

Care and Safety in a Studio
- Daily. Inspect the machine and every spring. A gap between coils means replace it now.
- Every two months. Check every fastener and the carriage wheel axles.
- Annually. Replace all springs, or every two years at five hours a day, five days a week.
- Always. At least one spring on the gear bar. Wipe the upholstery after use.
