Vacuactivus InfraStar Infrared Vacuum Bike: Recumbent Capsule Bike for Spas, Studios and Recovery Centres

A spa or a gym that wants vacuum resistance, infrared heating and cryotherapy in a single station usually needs three separate machines and three sets of floor space. The Vacuactivus InfraStar puts all of those inside one sealed capsule with a recumbent bike in the middle. The client pedals against electromagnetic and vacuum resistance while the capsule runs infrared heat or cold air around the lower body. That is one session, one room and one booking slot instead of three. Sessions typically run 30 to 45 minutes and the InfraStar is commonly used with an infrared sauna, a cold plunge or a red light bed in a recovery room package. That means you are buying one floor plan that does the work of three, so you stop paying for three. RecovAthlete sells the InfraStar as an authorized Vacuactivus dealer with freight delivery across the US.

RecovAthlete is an authorized dealer for Vacuactivus. All orders include factory warranty and direct manufacturer support.

    What the InfraStar Replaces

The operators buying this machine are trying to run infrared sessions, vacuum resistance sessions and (on the Cryonick model) cryotherapy sessions without stocking and maintaining separate units for each one. The InfraStar puts electromagnetic bike resistance, vacuum pressure from 0 to 30 mBar, infrared heating from 20C to 50C, and optional cryo cooling from 20C down to negative 20C into a single capsule. That collapses three service lines into one station, one footprint and one maintenance schedule.

Important: Grand and Cryonick are different machines at different prices

This page sells two variants. The Grand has infrared heating, vacuum resistance, a 10.1 inch VR touchscreen, aromatherapy, collagen lamp, speakers, WiFi streaming and app control. The Cryonick adds cold air cooling to negative 20C and EMS belt ports. They are not interchangeable after delivery. If you need cryotherapy, you need the Cryonick from the start. Confirm the model with us before you order, because the wrong capsule on a freight truck is expensive to fix.

    Why buy this from RecovAthlete

The machine is the same wherever you buy it. What changes is what comes with the order.

    • We confirm the variant (Grand or Cryonick), the voltage, the colour and freight access before the order reaches the factory.
    • Authorized dealer, so the factory warranty is valid and Vacuactivus supports the unit directly.
    • White glove delivery is available as a paid add-on, instead of leaving a sealed capsule on a loading dock.
    • Financing through Affirm for a personal order, or Brickhouse Capital, Reliant Capital, Acorn Finance and KWIPPED for a facility. See commercial recovery equipment financing.
    • 120% price match guarantee. Find a lower price from another authorized dealer within 60 days and we refund the difference plus 20% of it.
    • We will tell you which variant fits your situation, even when the answer is the cheaper one.
    • Multi-unit pricing and consolidated freight. A person answers 866-861-6317, 9am to 6pm EST.

    Size, Power and Room

The InfraStar capsule is 2460 mm long, 1180 mm wide and 1200 mm high, which is 97 by 46 by 47 inches. Plan for at least a 9 by 6 foot bay with an 8 foot ceiling. It draws 2 kW on a dedicated 20A circuit, either 120V 60Hz or 230V 50Hz. The supplier spec does not publish a shipping weight or assembled weight. Call 866-861-6317 and we will get it from the factory before you check your floor loading.

The InfraStar ships in two crates. Professional installation runs about two hours. The capsule needs a vented exhaust path for the Cryonick model's cold air output. Floor must be level and solid enough for the assembled unit plus a client. Confirm doorway clearance for the larger crate before delivery day.

    Best For

    • Spas and wellness studios adding vacuum and infrared sessions to the service menu
    • Body shaping studios that bill by the session and want one machine doing three jobs
    • Recovery centres and rehab clinics looking for low-impact pedalling inside a heated capsule
    • Gyms packaging premium sessions into a higher membership tier
    • Home buyers with a dedicated room, an 8 foot ceiling and a 20A circuit

    Not Ideal For

    • Anyone shopping for a standard exercise bike. This is a sealed capsule, not a cycle.
    • Rooms under 9 by 6 feet, or ceilings under 8 feet
    • Operators who need cryotherapy but ordered the Grand. The cryo module is not a retrofit.
    • Buyers who want a portable or folding bike. The InfraStar stays where you install it.
    • Addresses with no freight access and no liftgate

    • Home buyers with space. They want a set weekly routine and a machine that does more than a bike alone.

    Before you order

Confirm five things with us: the variant (Grand or Cryonick), the voltage, the colour, cryo exhaust venting (Cryonick only), and freight access at the delivery address. That means you are buying one floor plan that does the work of three, so you stop paying for three. RecovAthlete sells the InfraStar as an authorized Vacuactivus dealer.

How much space does the InfraStar need?

What power supply does the InfraStar need?

The InfraStar draws 2 kW and needs a dedicated 20A circuit. It ships in either 120V 60Hz or 230V 50Hz configuration. Specify the voltage when ordering. Most US installations run on 120V 60Hz.

What is the difference between the Grand and the Cryonick?

What maintenance does the InfraStar need?

The supplier recommends replacing the cryo filter yearly on the Cryonick model. Vacuum seals last about 2 years. Regular surface cleaning between clients is recommended in commercial settings. The InfraStar capsule also has a remote support capability.

Can the InfraStar be used for rehabilitation?

The InfraStar is a recumbent bike with electromagnetic resistance inside a sealed capsule. The recumbent position reduces load on joints compared with an upright bike. It is sold as wellness and fitness equipment, not as a medical device. Consult a physician before use for post-surgical or injury rehabilitation.

    Before you order

    InfraStar Questions

What is the InfraStar bike and who makes it?

The InfraStar is a recumbent exercise bike enclosed in a sealed capsule with infrared heating, vacuum resistance, and optional cryotherapy. It is manufactured by Vacuactivus. Buyers search for it as infrared bike, infrabike, vacuum bike, InfraStar and infrared vacuum bike. Sessions typically run 30 to 45 minutes and the InfraStar is commonly used with an infrared sauna, a cold plunge or a red light bed in a recovery room package. That means you are buying one floor plan that does the work of three, so you stop paying for three. RecovAthlete sells the InfraStar as an authorized Vacuactivus dealer.

How much space does the InfraStar need?

The InfraStar capsule is 97 in long, 46 in wide and 47 in high. Plan for at least a 9 by 6 foot bay with an 8 foot ceiling. The capsule needs to be accessible from one end for the client to enter the pod. The Cryonick variant also needs a vented exhaust path for the cold air output.

Both share the same capsule, bike, vacuum pump and infrared heating. The Cryonick adds cold air cooling to negative 20C (negative 4F) and EMS belt ports. If you plan to run cold sessions, you need the Cryonick from the start. The cryo module is not available as a retrofit.

Does the InfraStar require professional installation?

Yes. The InfraStar ships in two crates and professional installation takes about two hours. The Cryonick model also needs venting for the cryo exhaust. Confirm installation and freight access with us before ordering.

    Manuals and Resources

    One Capsule, One Booking Slot

The InfraStar replaces three separate machines and three separate floor plans with one capsule and one maintenance schedule. That is the case for buying it, and it is the same whether you run a spa, a gym or a recovery centre.

Tell us the variant you need, the voltage at your outlet and whether you are selling sessions or riding it yourself. Call 866-861-6317, 9am to 6pm EST, Monday to Friday.

Financing for Recovery and Fitness Equipment

Buying for yourself, spread the cost through Affirm at checkout. Buying for a gym, clinic, spa, or studio, apply with one of four business lenders and put the whole room on a single application.

RecovAthlete has no control over any financing decision. Approval is based on your creditworthiness and is solely the lender's decision.

    Personal purchase

Affirm at checkout. Rates run 0% to 36% APR based on your credit profile. Soft check to prequalify, so no impact on your score. No prepayment penalty.

    Business purchase

Brickhouse Capital, Reliant Capital, Acorn Finance, or KWIPPED. Apply with two of the four and compare. Financed equipment can qualify for a Section 179 deduction. Confirm with your accountant.

    Financing by Equipment Category

Every page below has real prices, real monthly payment examples, and the lender comparison for that category. Pick the one you are buying.

    Building a Recovery Room?

Most business buyers are not buying one machine. They are building a room. Sauna, cold plunge, red light, vibration, hyperbaric, cryotherapy, and halotherapy all finance on the same paper through the same four lenders, and RecovAthlete quotes every category on one purchase order.

That means one freight schedule, one install window, and one financing application instead of six. It also gets you a better rate, because a bigger number on one application beats six small ones with six hard inquiries.

See commercial recovery equipment financing, or call 866-861-6317 and we will price the room.

Which Lender Should You Apply With?

Lender Type Amount Speed Best for
Affirm Consumer, at checkout Order total Seconds Personal purchases. 0% to 36% APR based on credit. Soft check to prequalify.
Brickhouse Capital Direct equipment lender Up to $250K on a one-page application, $1M+ with financials ~24 hours A full room or a full floor. Credit decisions made in-house. Tied to the business, not your personal credit report.
Reliant Capital Lender and broker Up to $500K application-only, $5M with financials 2 to 4 hours Medical, aesthetic, and wellness. Deferred payment options. New or used equipment.
Acorn Finance Lending marketplace $1,000 to $100,000 60 seconds to prequalify Comparing offers. One application goes to 30 or more lenders with no impact to your score.
KWIPPED (APPROVE) Lender marketplace Minimum $1,500 equipment value 60-second application Larger commercial orders. Lenders compete, which usually returns the best APR. Businesses only.

Apply with two of the four and compare. It costs nothing and the spread between offers is often significant.

    Financing Questions

    What are Affirm's rates?

Pay in 4 splits the purchase into four interest-free payments charged every two weeks. Monthly installments spread the cost over a longer term, with rates from 0% to 36% APR depending on your credit profile. You see the exact terms before you agree to anything. No origination fees, no prepayment penalty, no late fees.

Will applying hurt my credit score?

Prequalification does not. Affirm and Acorn Finance both run a soft check to show you offers, which has no impact on your score. Proceeding with a monthly installment plan or a business loan may involve a hard inquiry. That is why it pays to prequalify with more than one lender first and only proceed with the best offer.

Can I finance equipment for a business?

Yes, and for most business buyers it is the better route. Brickhouse funds up to $250,000 on a one-page application with no financial statements. Reliant approves in 2 to 4 hours. Business financing is usually tied to the business rather than your personal credit report, and financed equipment can qualify for a Section 179 deduction. Confirm the tax position with your accountant.

Should I finance each machine separately?

No. This is the most common and most expensive mistake. Separate applications mean separate hard inquiries, separate payments, and a worse rate on each, because every individual ticket is small. Get one quote from RecovAthlete covering everything you are buying, including freight, and put that single number on one application.

Does Section 179 apply to financed equipment?

Financed equipment can qualify. Section 179 lets US businesses deduct the cost of qualifying equipment in the year it is placed in service, and financing the purchase does not by itself disqualify it. The equipment must be in service, not merely ordered, within the tax year. Annual limits and eligibility rules are set by the IRS and change year to year, so consult your accountant.

Can freight and installation be financed?

Freight, yes. On Affirm it is part of the order total at checkout. On business financing, put freight on the RecovAthlete quote and the whole quote amount goes on the application. Installation and room construction are harder, because some equipment lenders will not fund non-equipment costs. Ask the lender before you sign.

    Can I pay off early?

Yes. Affirm charges no prepayment penalties. Acorn Finance and most business lenders also allow early payoff without penalty.

    Not sure which option fits?

Tell us what you are buying and whether it is personal or for a business. We will point you at the right two lenders and quote freight and install as one number, which is also the number that goes on the application.

The difference is one thing: the Cryonick adds cold air cooling to negative 20C and ships with EMS belts. If you plan to run cold sessions or need EMS, you need the Cryonick from the start.

Both share the same capsule, bike, vacuum pump and infrared heating. The Cryonick adds cold air cooling to negative 20C (negative 4F) and EMS belt ports. If you plan to run cold sessions, you need the Cryonick from the start. The cryo module is not available as a retrofit.

Does the InfraStar require professional installation?

Yes. The InfraStar ships in two crates and professional installation takes about two hours. The Cryonick model also needs venting for the cryo exhaust. Confirm installation and freight access with us before ordering.
