Total Gym ELEVATE Row Machine: Incline Rowing That Folds Upright
The Total Gym ELEVATE Row is an incline rowing machine that uses your body weight as resistance. Total Gym calls it the only rower built to row on an incline. Sit, set your feet on the moving platform and pull. The seat and foot platform roll on angled rails as two separate parts, so the load stays on through the pull and the return. After the session, the Row folds upright against a wall.

Who the ELEVATE Row Suits
The ELEVATE Row fits gyms, studios, YMCAs, campus recreation and corporate fitness rooms that want rowing with a strength component. The owner's guide lists usage Class S under ISO 20957 and a US commercial warranty. The same guide covers personal use, so it also suits a home gym.
It holds users up to 400 lbs. Total Gym says it adapts to all body sizes and fitness levels, and describes the incline stroke as very low in joint compression, especially at the lower back.
Two resistance levels only
The ELEVATE Row sets to a low incline (19% of body weight) or a high incline (25%). Each Durapro band adds up to 15 lbs. The ELEVATE Row ADJ has seven levels, but it does not fold.
How You Use the ELEVATE Row
Sit down, grasp the handle, place your feet and row at a steady pace. Keep hold of the handle for the whole exercise. To stop, put your feet on the floor, stow the handle in its cradle and stand up. A yellow knob at the rear switches between the two levels.
The monitor wakes when you press its button or start rowing. It shows time, split per 500 meters, strokes per minute, total distance and calories burned.
Space, Power and Delivery
In use, the Row measures 98 x 23.5 x 30 inches (L x W x H) on 12 sq ft of floor. Keep at least 0.6 m (about 2 ft) free on each side. The monitor runs on two AA batteries.
The Row ships by freight in one box of 75 x 26 x 14 inches at 120 lbs. It needs some assembly, and the hex wrench comes with it. Room, route and delivery checks are on the Before You Order tab.
