By ordering Merrithew equipment from RecovAthlete, you confirm that you've read and agree to our:

Order Confirmation

Once you place your order:

• You'll get an Order Confirmation Email
• We pre-authorize your card
• If your item is in stock, we process the payment and prep for shipping
• If it's backordered, we'll email you before charging anything

It's important to carefully review your order details (model, size, color) before making a purchase. Ensure that the equipment fits your space and can be maneuvered through doors and stairs.

Shipping Details

Most Merrithew equipment ships within 3–5 business days, but this is not guaranteed. Delivery times vary by product and are shown on each product page. Custom or made-to-order equipment will take longer.

We only ship to the lower 48 U.S. states. No PO Boxes, freight forwarders, military addresses, Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.

Freight Shipping

Most Merrithew items ship via insured freight:

• Curbside delivery only (end of driveway or sidewalk)
• Lift-gate may not always be available
• Drivers may refuse to help unload if it seems unsafe
• You must transfer the package from the curb to your desired location

Tracking Your Order

Within 24 hours of your order being shipped, you'll receive a tracking email. If you don't see it in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folders. If you still can't find it, don't hesitate to contact us with your order number.

Delivery Appointments (Freight Only)

Once the shipment arrives locally, freight carriers call you to book delivery. You must be available and coordinate the date and time. The carrier can reschedule appointments. Freight delays are not grounds for cancellation unless you follow our return policy.

How to Receive a Freight Shipment

At delivery:

1. Count the boxes. Match the number with the bill of lading
2. Inspect every box. Look for dents, tears, holes
3. Note any damaged or missing items on the delivery slip before signing

Take photos of damage and paperwork. Call us immediately and email the images. Do not keep damaged boxes—send them back with the driver.

If you sign without noting damage, you waive your right to claim shipping damage. We cannot help after that.

Damage & Insurance

All freight items are insured. Report damage within 5 calendar days of delivery. If damage is cosmetic only, we may offer a repair part instead of a return. Keep damaged items and packaging until the insurance claim is closed.

Returns & Refunds

Most Merrithew equipment is large or made-to-order and non-returnable. Please double-check product details before purchasing.

Returnable items must:

• Be returned within 30 days of the order date
• Be unused, in original packaging, and resellable condition
• Be returned at your expense

Returns are subject to:

• 20% restocking fee
• 3% credit card processing fee

Use a trackable service or add shipping insurance. We can't guarantee refunds if items are lost in return transit.

Cancellations

Request a cancellation within 1 hour of ordering. After that, cancellation is not guaranteed.

If the order hasn't shipped, we'll cancel it and refund you minus a 3% fee. If it has, it becomes a return, and fees apply.

Professional Installation

Optional installation is available for an added charge and must be booked per item. Delivery remains curbside. You are responsible for moving items indoors.

Once the item is delivered and inspected, we'll schedule installation. We are not responsible for damage caused by the installers. If you're not satisfied, record that before signing the installation receipt.

Color Disclaimer

Colors may look different on screens. If the exact color matters, request a sample (if available). Returns are not accepted for color mismatches.
