Peak Pilates Artistry Reformer: One Solid Wood Frame, Three Strap Systems

Pick the loops your teaching actually uses, and leave the rest of the machine alone. The Peak Pilates Artistry Reformer is built to order in beechwood or walnut with black upholstery, and you choose rope, vegan synthetic straps or leather straps on the same frame. A studio teaching classical rope repertoire and a studio that will not buy animal products end up with the same carriage, the same footbar and the same five springs.

RecovAthlete is an authorized dealer for Peak Pilates. All orders include factory warranty and direct manufacturer support.

    What You Are Actually Choosing

Most reformer decisions get made on the frame and then undone by the loops. A studio buys a wood machine, then finds the strap package is fixed and does not match how it teaches. The Artistry Reformer separates those two decisions. The frame, carriage and spring system stay identical across all three builds, so the strap choice is about programming rather than about buying a different machine.

IMPORTANT: THE STRAP SYSTEM IS SET AT ORDER AND THE FRAME SHIPS WITHOUT A TOWER

Peak Pilates builds the Artistry Reformer to order and does not accept returns on large equipment, so a rope build cannot be swapped for a vegan build after delivery. The Artistry Reformer also has no tower, no push-through bar and no arm or leg springs. If your programming needs those, buy the Artistry Reformer with TWS Tower instead. Confirm the strap system and wood finish with us before the order goes in.

    Why Buy This From RecovAthlete

The machine is the same wherever you buy it. What changes is what comes with the transaction.

    • We check the strap choice against how you teach before the order goes in, because this machine cannot go back.
    • Authorized dealer. The Mad Dogg Athletics studio line warranty runs from the invoice date of a purchase through an authorized Peak Pilates dealer, and Peak Pilates supports the unit directly.
    • White glove inside delivery is available as a paid add-on. The crew brings the crate into the room you want and takes the packaging away, rather than leaving 157 lb at the curb.
    • Financing is available. Call and we will send the current lenders and terms.
    • Multi-unit pricing and consolidated freight for studio fit-outs. A person answers the phone at 866-861-6317, 9am to 6pm EST, before and after delivery.

The numbers behind that. The Artistry Reformer frame measures 90 in by 26 in (229 cm by 66 cm) and weighs 157 lb (71 kg), which puts it in the same footprint band as a standard studio reformer rather than a compact home unit. The carriage runs 35 in by 23.5 in by 15.5 in (89 cm by 60 cm by 39 cm), and Peak Pilates gives a recommended maximum user weight of 300 lb (136 kg). Five springs ship as standard, one heavy, two standard and two light, and the gear bar carries five eyehooks so you can run four springs for classical work or five for progressive loading. Swapping between the two is a gear bar change, not a service call.

Placing it is straightforward for studios and for home rooms. The frame arrives preassembled and two people should carry it into position on a level floor, then fit the carriage, springs and gear bar. Peak Pilates asks for a clear zone of about three feet (one metre) around the machine in use, so plan the room around 90 in by 26 in plus that working space. Nothing plugs in. Maintenance is light: wipe the upholstery after each session, inspect the springs weekly, check the hardware every 2 months, and replace all five springs every 2 years. The steel carriage flips for twin mat work, and the same frame works with the TWS or FWS tower later, so you never replace the reformer to get one.

    Best For

    • Classical studios that teach rope and strap repertoire on a wood frame
    • Studios and clinics with an animal-free equipment policy, which the vegan strap build answers
    • Instructors who want leather primary straps and leather swivel handles as the standard hand feel
    • Home studios where the machine sits in a living space and has to look like furniture

    Not Ideal For

    • Anyone who needs push-through bar, arm spring or leg spring work, since the tower is a separate build
    • Rooms where reformers get stacked or moved daily, because this is a 157 lb wood frame
    • Buyers who need equipment this month, since Peak Pilates lists the Artistry Reformer as a pre-order

    Rope, Vegan or Leather

This is the only decision that changes the machine, and it is fixed once the order is built. Rope is the classical studio default. The vegan build swaps the ropes for synthetic straps and handles, with no animal products in the package. The leather build starts from the rope and riser package and adds premium leather primary straps and leather swivel handles.

Peak Pilates Artistry Reformer standard rope and riser package with neoprene handles

    Who Buys the Artistry Reformer

    • The classical studio replacing a tired wood frame. Same repertoire, a carriage and footbar that hold up to back-to-back sessions.
    • The studio with a written animal-free policy. The vegan build gives the classical strap configuration with no leather in the package.
    • The instructor building a home studio in a living room. Beech or walnut with black upholstery reads as furniture, which a metal frame does not.
    • The clinic that will want tower work in a year. Buying the Artistry frame now keeps the TWS and FWS upgrade open.

    BEFORE YOU ORDER

Five things to confirm, because this machine is built to order and cannot be returned:

    • Floor space of 90 in by 26 in, plus roughly three feet of clear working space around the frame.
    • The strap system: rope, vegan or leather. It cannot be changed to another build after delivery.
    • The wood finish: beechwood or walnut. Both carry the same hardware and the same specification.
    • Access for freight. Standard delivery is curbside, the crate is heavy, and white glove inside delivery is a paid add-on that has to be booked with the order.
    • Anything you assumed was included. The tower kits, jump board, dancer jump board and side split platform are all sold separately.

    Artistry Reformer Questions

Which strap system should I choose on the Artistry Reformer?

Choose rope if you teach the classical rope repertoire and want the standard studio setup. Choose vegan if you or your clients will not have animal products in the studio, since that build uses synthetic straps and handles throughout. Choose leather if traditional strap work is the core of your teaching, and accept that leather needs conditioning and settles over the first month or two.

Can I add a tower to the Artistry Reformer later?

Yes. The Artistry Reformer carriage flips and the frame takes either the TWS or the FWS tower, so you do not replace the machine to get tower work. What you cannot do is convert the machine yourself out of parts you already own, because the tower arrives as a kit with its own springs, bars and mats. If you already know you want tower work, order the Artistry Reformer with TWS Tower from the start rather than buying a reformer and a kit in two goes.

How much floor space does the Artistry Reformer need?

The Artistry Reformer frame is 90 in by 26 in, and Peak Pilates asks for about three feet of clear space around the machine in use. In a studio that works out at about 13.5 ft by 8 ft per station. Measure the door and hallway too, because the crate arrives by freight and does not fold.

Does the Artistry Reformer arrive assembled?

The frame arrives preassembled. You fit the carriage, springs and gear bar on site, which the Peak Pilates manual asks two people to do so nobody catches a hand between the carriage and the track. Nothing plugs in. Standard freight delivery is curbside, so book white glove inside delivery as a paid add-on if you do not have two people and a clear path to the room.

How long does the Artistry Reformer take to arrive?

Peak Pilates currently lists the Artistry Reformer as a pre-order with an estimated 45 to 60 days from the order date, and a limit of two units per order. That window moves with the factory build schedule, so we confirm the current date with Peak Pilates when your order is placed rather than quoting an old one. Call 866-861-6317 if you have a studio opening date to work back from.

Can I run the Artistry Reformer with four springs instead of five?

Yes. The Artistry Reformer ships with five springs, one heavy, two standard and two light, and moves between four and five spring setups with a gear bar change. Four springs suits classical work where the tensions are meant to be equal. Five gives a wider load range, and the colour at the eyebolt tells you which is which: blue light, yellow medium, red heavy.

Why This Is the One to Buy

You are buying one decision less. The frame, carriage, footbar and spring system are settled, and the only thing left is which loops your clients hold. That is the part a studio actually feels every session, and it is the part most reformer purchases get wrong by accident.

Not sure which strap build fits how you teach? Call 866-861-6317, 9am to 6pm EST, Monday to Friday, and we will size the room and confirm the build with Peak Pilates before you order.

Financing for Recovery and Fitness Equipment

Buying for yourself, spread the cost through Affirm at checkout. Buying for a gym, clinic, spa, or studio, apply with one of four business lenders and put the whole room on a single application.

RecovAthlete has no control over any financing decision. Approval is based on your creditworthiness and is solely the lender's decision.

    Personal purchase

Affirm at checkout. Rates run 0% to 36% APR based on your credit profile. Soft check to prequalify, so no impact on your score. No prepayment penalty.

    Business purchase

Brickhouse Capital, Reliant Capital, Acorn Finance, or KWIPPED. Apply with two of the four and compare. Financed equipment can qualify for a Section 179 deduction. Confirm with your accountant.

    Financing by Equipment Category

Every page below has real prices, real monthly payment examples, and the lender comparison for that category. Pick the one you are buying.

    Building a Recovery Room?

Most business buyers are not buying one machine. They are building a room. Sauna, cold plunge, red light, vibration, hyperbaric, cryotherapy, and halotherapy all finance on the same paper through the same four lenders, and RecovAthlete quotes every category on one purchase order.

That means one freight schedule, one install window, and one financing application instead of six. It also gets you a better rate, because a bigger number on one application beats six small ones with six hard inquiries.

See commercial recovery equipment financing, or call 866-861-6317 and we will price the room.

Which Lender Should You Apply With?

Lender Type Amount Speed Best for
Affirm Consumer, at checkout Order total Seconds Personal purchases. 0% to 36% APR based on credit. Soft check to prequalify.
Brickhouse Capital Direct equipment lender Up to $250K on a one-page application, $1M+ with financials ~24 hours A full room or a full floor. Credit decisions made in-house. Tied to the business, not your personal credit report.
Reliant Capital Lender and broker Up to $500K application-only, $5M with financials 2 to 4 hours Medical, aesthetic, and wellness. Deferred payment options. New or used equipment.
Acorn Finance Lending marketplace $1,000 to $100,000 60 seconds to prequalify Comparing offers. One application goes to 30 or more lenders with no impact to your score.
KWIPPED (APPROVE) Lender marketplace Minimum $1,500 equipment value 60-second application Larger commercial orders. Lenders compete, which usually returns the best APR. Businesses only.

Apply with two of the four and compare. It costs nothing and the spread between offers is often significant.

    Financing Questions

    What are Affirm's rates?

Pay in 4 splits the purchase into four interest-free payments charged every two weeks. Monthly installments spread the cost over a longer term, with rates from 0% to 36% APR depending on your credit profile. You see the exact terms before you agree to anything. No origination fees, no prepayment penalty, no late fees.

Will applying hurt my credit score?

Prequalification does not. Affirm and Acorn Finance both run a soft check to show you offers, which has no impact on your score. Proceeding with a monthly installment plan or a business loan may involve a hard inquiry. That is why it pays to prequalify with more than one lender first and only proceed with the best offer.

Can I finance equipment for a business?

Yes, and for most business buyers it is the better route. Brickhouse funds up to $250,000 on a one-page application with no financial statements. Reliant approves in 2 to 4 hours. Business financing is usually tied to the business rather than your personal credit report, and financed equipment can qualify for a Section 179 deduction. Confirm the tax position with your accountant.

Should I finance each machine separately?

No. This is the most common and most expensive mistake. Separate applications mean separate hard inquiries, separate payments, and a worse rate on each, because every individual ticket is small. Get one quote from RecovAthlete covering everything you are buying, including freight, and put that single number on one application.

Does Section 179 apply to financed equipment?

Financed equipment can qualify. Section 179 lets US businesses deduct the cost of qualifying equipment in the year it is placed in service, and financing the purchase does not by itself disqualify it. The equipment must be in service, not merely ordered, within the tax year. Annual limits and eligibility rules are set by the IRS and change year to year, so consult your accountant.

Can freight and installation be financed?

Freight, yes. On Affirm it is part of the order total at checkout. On business financing, put freight on the RecovAthlete quote and the whole quote amount goes on the application. Installation and room construction are harder, because some equipment lenders will not fund non-equipment costs. Ask the lender before you sign.

    Can I pay off early?

Yes. Affirm charges no prepayment penalties. Acorn Finance and most business lenders also allow early payoff without penalty.

    Not sure which option fits?

Tell us what you are buying and whether it is personal or for a business. We will point you at the right two lenders and quote freight and install as one number, which is also the number that goes on the application.

Standard Rope: nylon ropes, neoprene handles and retractable risers.
