The Align Pilates M8-Pro Maple Wood Reformer with Half Cadillac puts the full tower repertoire on a solid North American maple frame, then keeps the oversized 93cm by 66cm carriage that makes the M8-Pro worth owning in the first place. You get push through bar work, pull down bar work, and spring loaded standing exercises on the same machine your clients already know, and you convert to a flat bed for Cadillac work using the mattress converter and platform extender that ship in the box.
Most reformers with a tower ask you to accept a narrower carriage or a shorter travel to make room for the uprights. This one does not. Travel stays at 104cm across the 8 wheel system, and the Rapid Change spring bar still adjusts with one hand while the springs stay attached.
Align-Pilates builds the M8-Pro to EN ISO 20957-1:2013 and has it independently tested, which matters when a studio insurer asks. The Rapid Change spring bar is the practical difference in a teaching environment. Changing spring load without unclipping springs and without moving a separate carriage stopper saves a handful of seconds every transition, and across a full class that is real teaching time back.
The same maple frame is available without the Half Cadillac, supplied with the Pro Sitting Box, as the M8-Pro with Pro Sitting Box. Buy that one if you want the carriage and the maple frame now and would rather add tower work later. The Half Cadillac frame and the M-Series bracket set retrofit to it, so nothing is wasted if you upgrade.
The bundle studios cross shop against this one is the C8-Pro with Half Cadillac. Same idea, aluminium profile instead of maple, and a smaller machine in every direction. The M8-Pro keeps the widest carriage in the range and asks for a permanent position in return.

Take the maple when the room is small, the sessions are one to one or duet, and the machine is part of what the client looks at for an hour. Take the aluminium when the ceiling is tight, the machine has to move, or the timetable is heavy.

This machine ships freight on a pallet and arrives partially assembled. Plan for two people to move it into position, and assemble it in the room where it will live. The maple frame and the Half Cadillac uprights are heavy enough that carrying an assembled unit through a doorway is not realistic. Yes. The Half Cadillac frame and the M-Series brackets are sold as separate components and fit the existing M8-Pro. You also need the mattress converter and platform extender to make the flat bed conversion work. Call us and we will confirm the exact part list against your machine before you order.
Same reformer and same Half Cadillac frame. The difference is what comes in the box. This configuration includes the Pro Sitting Box and the 60 inch maple gondola pole. The tower bundle includes a drop in mat and a padded foot strap instead. Pick based on which accessories you already own.
Assembled height is 213cm. Allow clearance above that for the pull down bar to travel and for a standing client working the arm springs. We suggest 240cm of clear height as a comfortable minimum. Measure to the lowest obstruction in the room, not the highest point of the ceiling.
Yes. The upholstered jump board is sold separately and swaps in for the removable maple standing platform. It is the same M-Series board used across the range.
Yes. Align-Pilates specifies the M8-Pro for studio use and has it independently tested to EN ISO 20957-1:2013, with an attestation of conformity available. Maximum user weight is 150kg.
Warranties are issued by Align-Pilates Equipment Ltd. and handled in North America by Kloz Inc., the exclusive distributor. They cover the original purchaser only and are not transferable. Align-Pilates will repair or replace any mechanical part that fails from a defect in materials or workmanship.
