Due to global shipping challenges, neither Merrithew nor our carrier partners can be held responsible for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances such as:

• Shipping company delays
• Customs or border clearance
• Inclement weather
• Natural disasters

Important Shipping Information

• Upon delivery, inspect your order and document any shipping damage to the outer box/skid on the carrier’s waybill before signing for receipt.
• If someone signs for your order on your behalf, ensure they are aware of this requirement and are over 18 years old.
• Merrithew is not responsible for any damage not reported on the waybill.
• Box cutters should not be used to open freight, as they may damage the upholstered parts of your equipment.
• Any damage to the product or missing/incorrect items must be reported to your salesperson or customer care within three (3) business days of receipt.

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated by the greater of the dimensional or actual weight of the products, service level selected, and the final shipping destination.

Shipping Within Continental US

• Small and mid-sized items (DVDs, Flex-Band® exercisers, Mini Stability Balls™, Fitness Circle® resistance rings, manuals, etc.) are shipped via standard courier and should arrive in 5–8 business days.

Shipping Within Canada

• Small and mid-sized items are shipped via standard postal service and should arrive in 5–8 business days.

Large Equipment Shipping

Within Continental US and Canada

• Large equipment is shipped by ground via a freight carrier, packed in a cardboard box and secured to a wooden skid.
• Upon placing your order, delivery options will be provided:

1. Curbside Delivery

   • Liftgate service delivered to curbside near your building.
   • No assistance needed for removing equipment from the truck.
   • You are responsible for unpacking, installation, and disposal of packaging.
   • Two people are recommended to assist with unpacking and carrying the equipment.

2. White Glove Service

   • Carrier unpacks shipment, carries it inside, and places it in your chosen room (additional charges may apply for stairs).
   • The carrier will also remove packaging materials and skids.
   • You do not need to assist the carrier in unloading the equipment.

• Unless specified, all freight quotes are for curbside delivery and do not include inside delivery or setup.
• Once your shipment is in transit, changing the delivery method (e.g., from curbside to white glove) may incur additional carrier fees.

Equipment Setup

• Reformers, Wall Units, and Ladder Barrels arrive 90% assembled.
• Cadillacs and Stability Chairs™ require additional assembly.
• Instructions and basic tools are provided, and customer care is available for support.

Delivery Attempts

• Delivery quotes include one scheduled delivery attempt.
• If you are not available at the appointed time, a re-delivery fee will apply.
• After-hours or weekend deliveries may be subject to additional fees.
• Additional charges may apply for stairs, narrow passageways, or remote locations.
• If you delay or reschedule delivery, storage fees may apply.

Outside Continental US and Canada

• Standard shipping options include ocean freight to the nearest port or air freight to the nearest airport. Door-to-door delivery may be available at an additional charge.

Equipment Limited Warranties

The Company warrants that all new equipment is free of manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials, subject to the terms below. This warranty becomes effective at the invoice date of the original purchase. Parts repaired or replaced under the terms of this warranty will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to notify the Company of any change of contact information. This will ensure that in the unlikely event of a replacement or safety notice, the company will be able to contact you immediately.

Warranty Applicability

This warranty applies to equipment:

• While equipment remains in the possession of the original purchaser and proof of purchase is demonstrated
• If claims are made within the part-specific warranty period
• If upgrades are made as required by the Company

Warranty Void Conditions

This warranty shall be null and void if:

• All safety, maintenance, and usage guidelines as specified in the appropriate equipment manuals are not followed
• Equipment is used for any other purpose other than as intended, is stored or used outdoors, in environments without adequate climate/humidity controls
• Equipment has been subjected to accident, misuse, abuse, improper service, or any modification not authorized by the Company
• An At Home SPX® Reformer is used in Pilates studios, fitness or health clubs, gyms, spas, or any other type of commercial facility offering fitness services to the public
• Failure to change springs on spring-loaded equipment (Reformers, Cadillacs, Chairs, Tower Trainers™, Wall Units, Spring Walls™, etc.) every two (2) years may void this warranty.
• Warranty does not cover damage to the finish of any equipment nor shipping charges, customs clearance fees (if applicable), or any costs incurred in installing repaired or replacement parts shipped under the provisions of this warranty.

Company's Repair or Replacement Policy

At its option, the Company will repair or replace warranted parts, provided that any such failure is due to a defect in workmanship or materials and provided that such failure occurs and is reported to the Company within the part-specific warranty period.

  • At Home Reformers: Limited lifetime warranty on the same components. Void if used in commercial settings.
  • All Reformer Models: 90-day limited warranty on fabric and upholstery; 1-year limited warranty on wear and tear items; 2-year limited warranty on all other components.
  • Reformers Accessories: 2-year limited warranty on wood components, frames, and related welding; 90-day limited warranty on fabric, upholstery, and rubber padding.

Every warp, knot, or mineral streak is a testament to a tree’s life, and the years it lived through. Not every piece of Baltic Birch will have patches or streaks, but that doesn’t make it better or worse than the parts that do. The patches do not affect the integrity or quality; the wood stands up to our high-quality standards and is natural and unique. Merrithew will not replace products that may have oval patches, knots, or biscuits as they fall within our quality standards.
