A Harvia steel chimney is sold as a base kit sized for a typical room. Taller rooms, or a roof further away than the kit allows, need extending. These are the parts that do it: the WHP1000500 extension in stainless steel and the WHP1000500M in black, plus the WHP-AS tilted accessory kit and the WHP-ASSYM and WHP-ASSYMM symmetric kits for the roof penetration. Harvia rates the assembled chimney as self-supporting to 3 metres indoors and 2 metres outdoors.
Extension or accessory kit
The extensions add length to the run. The accessory kits handle where the chimney leaves the building. The tilted kit suits a pitched roof, the symmetric kits a flat or near-flat penetration, and the M suffix on the WHP-ASSYMM means the black finish rather than stainless. Pick the finish to match the chimney you already have, because the two do not sit well together on a visible run.
The self-supporting limit
Harvia rates the chimney self-supporting to 3 metres indoors and 2 metres outdoors. Past that it needs bracing, and bracing is a structural decision rather than a parts decision. If your run is longer than those figures, tell us before ordering so we can check what the installation needs.

Harvia publishes no pipe diameter and no section length for the WHP1000500 and WHP1000500M on its own product pages. The name and the 1550 mm carton imply a 1.5 metre section, but Harvia states neither the bore nor the length anywhere, so we will not print a figure we cannot source. Confirm the bore of your existing chimney with us before ordering. The three accessory kits, WHP-AS, WHP-ASSYM and WHP-ASSYMM, have no Harvia model page at all, so everything we hold on them comes from the supplier inventory sheet. Chimney work is a job for a certified installer and is usually subject to local permit.
