    Description

Harvia Smoke Pipe and Fittings: the 115 mm parts between your stove and the chimney

Every Harvia wood stove connects at 115 mm, and almost nobody orders all the parts that connect it. This page carries the pieces between the stove collar and the chimney: the WZ100M smoke pipe, the WZ115030SP damper, the WZ115120 reducing pipe, the WZ020115 lead-through flange, the WHP270SP and WHP270SPM smoke dampers, the WHM25 vapour barrier collar and the ZSB-485 air circulation grill for Club and Legend heaters. Harvia states these fit every Harvia wood-heated sauna heater except the Harvia 50, plus the Harvia 10 iron heater.

    What each part actually does

The WZ100M is a one metre length of 115 mm pipe. The WZ115030SP damper sits in that run and lets you throttle the draught once the fire has caught, which is how you stop a stove burning through a load in twenty minutes. The WHP270SP and WHP270SPM are larger insulated damper plates at 270 by 170 mm, which Harvia states suit all its steel chimneys. The WZ115120 steps a 115 mm collar up to a 120 mm chimney, the WZ020115 finishes a wall or ceiling penetration, and the WHM25 seals it.

    Clearances on the pipe itself

The pipe needs its own clearance, separate from the stove, and this is the part people miss. A stove that clears its own safety distances can still fail on the pipe run, so measure both. The figures are in the table below.

BEFORE YOU ORDER: THE PIPE HAS ITS OWN SAFETY DISTANCES

An unshielded 115 mm smoke pipe needs 500 mm to combustible material at the front, behind and at each side, and 1000 mm to the ceiling. To non-combustible material the figure is 0 mm. Adding the WZ020130 radiation shield cuts the 500 mm to 250 mm. These are separate from your stove clearances and both have to be satisfied. Chimney work is a job for a certified installer and is usually subject to local permit. One fitment exception: Harvia excludes the Harvia 50, so if you own a PRO 50 check with us first.

    Benefits and Features

    • 115 mm connection, the standard across the Harvia wood stove range
    • WZ100M gives a one metre pipe section for the run to the chimney
    • WZ115030SP damper lets you throttle the draught once the fire has caught
    • WHP270SP and WHP270SPM insulated damper plates suit all Harvia steel chimneys
    • WZ115120 adapts a 115 mm collar to a 120 mm chimney
    • WZ020115 lead-through flange finishes a wall or ceiling penetration
    • WHM25 vapour barrier collar seals a 225 to 250 mm penetration
    • Stainless steel or black powder coat, made in Finland

    BEST FOR

    • Completing a wood stove install that arrived without pipe
    • Replacing a corroded pipe section or a seized damper
    • Adapting a 115 mm stove collar to an existing 120 mm chimney
    • Sealing a wall or ceiling penetration properly

    NOT IDEAL FOR

    • The Harvia 50, which Harvia excludes from this fitment statement
    • Electric heaters. None of this applies to them
    • Anyone hoping to skip a certified installer on chimney work
    • Runs that cannot give the pipe its own 500 mm clearance

    Also Consider

For the chimney itself rather than the pipe, see the Harvia steel chimney extensions and kits. If you need a stone-filled guard around the pipe inside the room, the Cilindro chimney cover WL300PC does that job. For the stove, see our wood burning sauna stoves.

    Why buy this from RecovAthlete

Half the calls we take on wood stoves are someone who has the stove and is one fitting short. Tell us your stove model, your chimney bore and how the pipe leaves the room, and we will list the exact parts rather than have you guess from a diagram. Call 866-861-6317, 9am to 6pm EST, Monday to Friday, or book a call.

    Questions buyers ask

Will these fit my Harvia stove?

Harvia states they fit all its wood-heated sauna heaters except the Harvia 50, plus the Harvia 10 iron heater. Every current Harvia wood stove connects at 115 mm. If you own a PRO 50, check with us first.

How much clearance does the pipe need?

500 mm to combustible material at the front, behind and each side, 0 mm to non-combustible, and 1000 mm to the ceiling. The WZ020130 radiation shield brings the 500 mm figure down to 250 mm.

My chimney is 120 mm, not 115. Is that a problem?

No. The WZ115120 reducing pipe adapts a 115 mm stove collar to a 120 mm chimney.

    Can I install this myself?

Setting a pipe section or a damper is owner work. Anything touching the chimney or a wall penetration needs a certified installer and usually a local permit.
