Harvia Chimney Kit: the complete steel chimney for a wood sauna stove
A wood stove without a chimney is furniture. The Harvia WHP1500 is the complete steel chimney kit for the Harvia wood range, supplied in stainless steel or, as the WHP1500M, in black. It is the starting point for a new install rather than an extension to something already on the building.
Kit first, extensions after
The kit is sized for a typical sauna ceiling. If your ceiling is higher, or the roof termination is further away, you add WHP500 or WHP1000 extension sections to the same system rather than buying a second kit. Work out the total run first, then order the kit and the extensions together so the finish matches across the whole thing.

Chimney installation on a solid fuel appliance is a job for a certified installer and is usually subject to local permit and inspection. Harvia rates the assembled chimney as self-supporting to 3 metres indoors and 2 metres outdoors; beyond that it needs bracing. An unshielded 115 mm smoke pipe needs 500 mm to combustible material at the front, behind and each side, 0 mm to non-combustible, and 1000 mm to the ceiling. The WZ020130 radiation shield brings the 500 mm down to 250 mm. These are separate from the stove clearances and both have to be met. Chimney work is a job for a certified installer and is usually subject to local permit.

What arrives, and what still has to be bought
The kit covers the chimney itself from the stove upward, in the Harvia steel system. What it does not cover is the smoke pipe between the stove collar and the chimney, the lead-through flange that finishes a wall or ceiling penetration, or the damper that lets you throttle the draught once the fire has caught. Those are separate parts and we stock all three. Budget them at the same time rather than discovering the gap on install day, because a stove that is connected but undamped burns through a load far faster than it should.
