Harvia Embedding Flanges: the trim that lets a heater sit flush in the bench
An embedding flange is what turns a free-standing heater into a built-in one. The heater drops into a cut-out in the bench platform or floor and the flange covers the join, so the finished room reads as a stone surface with a heater in it rather than an appliance parked against a wall. Harvia makes a different flange for each heater family: the HL1M for Virta, the HPC2 and the LED-lit HPCU2LUL and HPCU7LUL for Cilindro, and the HSP1 for Spirit.
Match the flange to the heater family, then to the output
These are not interchangeable. The HL1M fits the Virta range. The HSP1 fits the Spirit SP60 and SP90. On Cilindro the flange also changes with output: the HPC2 and the HPCU2LUL cover the 6 to 9 kW bodies, and the HPCU7LUL covers the 10.5 kW. Buy on the heater model, not on the look.
The measurement to confirm first
Harvia publishes a 430 mm mounting hole diameter for the HPC2. That is the cut-out your carpenter has to make, and it is the number worth confirming before any timber is cut. For the other flanges Harvia publishes the outer dimensions but not the aperture, so send us your heater model and we will get the cut-out figure rather than have you work it back from the trim.

The HPCU2LUL and HPCU7LUL are the parts intended for North America. Certification marks for this group are not settled in our current supplier record, so we publish none rather than quote one we cannot stand behind. Ask us if your installation is being inspected and we will confirm. The LED versions are also rated IPX4 and carry a live electrical connection, so they need an electrician rather than a carpenter. Harvia publishes no product image for the HPCU7LUL, so the photograph on this listing is of a sibling flange rather than that exact part.

Which flange fits my heater?
HL1M for Virta, HSP1 for the Spirit SP60 and SP90, and on Cilindro the HPC2 or HPCU2LUL for 6 to 9 kW and the HPCU7LUL for 10.5 kW. They are not interchangeable between families.
What size hole do I cut?
Harvia publishes 430 mm for the HPC2. For the others it publishes the outer trim size but not the aperture, so ask us with your heater model before cutting.
Do the LED versions need an electrician?
Yes. The HPCU2LUL and HPCU7LUL carry a live connection and are rated IPX4. The plain flanges are trim only and need no wiring.
