Harvia Vinyl Floor Matting: the floor surface that does not rot
Timber duckboard in a sauna or washroom is a maintenance item. It holds water, it goes black, and eventually it has to come out. Harvia vinyl floorboard matting is the alternative: a 15 mm thick beige vinyl surface supplied on a roll and cut to the room. The SZ115 is a 600 mm wide roll covering 9 square metres. The SZ116 is 900 mm wide and covers 13.5 square metres.
Which roll width, and how much you need
Both come as 15 metre rolls, so the choice is width. Measure the run you need to cover and pick the width that wastes least once it is cut in. The SZ115 at 600 mm suits a narrow washroom or a walkway between benches. The SZ116 at 900 mm suits a wider floor and gives fewer joins. Buy on coverage rather than on room area alone, because offcuts around a bench frame are where the waste happens.

The SZ115 weighs 50 kg and the SZ116 weighs 66.5 kg, and both arrive as a single 15 metre roll rather than in sections. Harvia publishes no fire rating, no slip rating and no maximum service temperature for either roll, so if your installation has to meet a specification on any of those, ask us to confirm with the supplier before ordering rather than assume.

Can it go under a wood stove?
No. This is floor surfacing, not heat protection. A wood stove needs protective bedding such as the WL100 or WL120 on a combustible or tiled floor.
Is it slip rated?
Harvia publishes no slip rating, no fire rating and no maximum service temperature for either roll. If your installation needs one, ask us to confirm with the supplier.
