Harvia Decorative Stone Wall: a stone face that goes over the panelling you already have
Most sauna interiors are timber on every surface. A Harvia stone wall breaks that with a framed panel of real stone that mounts directly over existing panelling, so it is a finishing decision rather than a build decision. Two sizes, each in two frame colours: the SACSW001 and SACSW001M at 2123 mm tall, and the SACSW002 and SACSW002M at 1824 mm. The M suffix is the black frame.
Pick the height against your ceiling, not your wall
Harvia publishes a minimum room height for each panel rather than a panel height to match. The taller SACSW001 and SACSW001M need a room of at least 2150 mm. The shorter SACSW002 and SACSW002M need 1850 mm. Measure floor to ceiling before choosing, because a panel that does not clear the ceiling cannot be trimmed down: the frame is a fixed aluminium extrusion.
Frame colour, and one wrinkle in Harvia data
The plain part numbers are grey aluminium frames and the M versions are black. Note that Harvia lists the colour of the SACSW001M as Grafic grey where the other three read Graphite black. Harvia describes the M suffix as the black frame throughout, so we have treated that colour field as a data entry inconsistency rather than a real difference. If the exact frame shade matters to your build, call us and we will confirm with the supplier before you order.
BEFORE YOU ORDER: HARVIA PUBLISHES NO DISTANCE TO THE HEATER
Harvia carries the warning "Remember the safety distances to the heater" in its own copy for these panels but publishes no figure anywhere. That is the one thing you need before mounting one, and it is not available from Harvia. Do not mount a stone wall near a heater on the assumption that stone is safe at any distance. Send us your heater model and your intended panel position and we will get a figure from the supplier rather than guess. Harvia also does not name the rock type in the panels beyond describing the material as stone.
