Harvia Cilindro Half: 200 lbs of stone in a heater you can wall mount
Most wall heaters carry 40 to 50 lbs of stone. The Cilindro Half carries 200, and the PC110E carries 264. It is a half-round stainless steel pillar that sits flat against the wall or stands on the floor, with the whole front face open stone. Sold here in four outputs across two control layouts: the PC60E, PC80E, PC90E and PC110E take a separate Xenio control, and the PC60, PC80 and PC90 have controls built in.
Why the stone load is the whole product
Steam quality is a function of stone mass, and 200 lbs is roughly four times what a conventional wall heater holds. Water poured across an open face meets hot rock over a much wider area and keeps meeting it on the way down. That is what gives the Cilindro its reputation for a soft, long steam rather than the sharp burst a small tray gives. The trade is heat-up time and a heavier fixing.
Which control layout to choose
The E models have no dials and need a separate Xenio: a CX30 on the PC60E and a CX45 on the PC110E. That costs more and adds a wiring run, and in exchange you set the room from outside the door. The plain PC60, PC80 and PC90 have controls on the heater. There is no built-in version of the 10.5 kW, so that output always takes a separate control.
BEFORE YOU ORDER: A HEAVY HEATER WITH A HEAVY STONE LOAD
A loaded PC110E is the heater plus 264 lbs of stone, so the fixing carries roughly 310 lbs in a hot, humid room. Confirm the substrate before ordering, particularly on a stud wall. The heater arrives with no stones and Harvia specifies AC3000, its 5 to 10 cm split-face olivine, which is five boxes for a 200 lb fill and six for the PC110E. Every model is hardwired by a licensed electrician. Certification differs within the range: the 6, 8 and 9 kW models carry CE, EAC and ETL while the PC110E carries ETL only.

How many boxes of stone does it take?
A 200 lb fill is five 44 lb boxes of Harvia AC3000. The PC110E takes 264 lbs, which is six. Stack loosely so air can move through the column.
What is the difference between a PC60 and a PC60E?
Controls. The E has none and needs a separate Xenio wall control. The plain PC60 has controls built in and needs nothing else.
Can I get 10.5 kW with built-in controls?
No. Harvia builds the 10.5 kW as the PC110E only, so that output always takes a CX45.
