The Cold Plunge XL is our signature immersible cold therapy tub with an extended basin length of 73 inches. Recommended for users over 6 feet tall. A quiet 1/4 HP chiller cools water at approximately 2 to 4 degrees per hour down to 41 degrees F. Recommended for indoor use where low noise is preferred or for cooler outdoor climates where the average temperature does not exceed 90 degrees F.
Cold water immersion therapy is used for athletic recovery, sore muscle relief, post-training inflammation control, circulation, and stacking with sauna for contrast therapy protocols.
This cold plunge runs on a standard 120V 15-amp outlet. No electrician required. GFCI outlet recommended for outdoor installs. Fill water line or hose access is needed at the install location. Cooling performance drops in ambient temperatures above 90 degrees F. This unit is rated for indoor use or cooler outdoor climates.
Athletes or high performers running daily cold exposure protocols. Home gyms and garage setups with a standard 120V outlet. Users who want plug-and-play without hiring an electrician. Users over 6 feet who need the extended basin length.
Buyers in hot climates above 90 degrees F ambient who need commercial-grade cooling. Users wanting temperatures below 41 degrees F. This unit's floor is 41 degrees F. Outdoor installs without GFCI protection. Buyers who want a chilled barrel look. This is an acrylic tub, not wood.
Most cold plunges on the market are either stock-tank hacks or commercial-only units. This sits in the middle. Acrylic shell, built-in chiller, ozone sanitation, plug-and-play on a standard outlet.
We tested against cheaper inflatable plunges and the issue is always the same: no dedicated chiller means the water warms up mid-session. A dedicated 0.25 HP chiller holds 41 degrees F without you babysitting the water. That is what separates a recovery tool from a novelty purchase.

Buying for yourself, spread the cost through Affirm at checkout. Buying for a gym, clinic, spa, or studio, apply with one of four business lenders and put the whole room on a single application.
RecovAthlete has no control over any financing decision. Approval is based on your creditworthiness and is solely the lender's decision.
Affirm at checkout. Rates run 0% to 36% APR based on your credit profile. Soft check to prequalify, so no impact on your score. No prepayment penalty.
Brickhouse Capital, Reliant Capital, Acorn Finance, or KWIPPED. Apply with two of the four and compare. Financed equipment can qualify for a Section 179 deduction. Confirm with your accountant.
Every page below has real prices, real monthly payment examples, and the lender comparison for that category. Pick the one you are buying.
Most business buyers are not buying one machine. They are building a room. Sauna, cold plunge, red light, vibration, hyperbaric, cryotherapy, and halotherapy all finance on the same paper through the same four lenders, and RecovAthlete quotes every category on one purchase order.
That means one freight schedule, one install window, and one financing application instead of six. It also gets you a better rate, because a bigger number on one application beats six small ones with six hard inquiries.
See commercial recovery equipment financing, or call 866-861-6317 and we will price the room.
| Lender | Type | Amount | Speed | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Affirm | Consumer, at checkout | Order total | Seconds | Personal purchases. 0% to 36% APR based on credit. Soft check to prequalify. |
| Brickhouse Capital | Direct equipment lender | Up to $250K on a one-page application, $1M+ with financials | ~24 hours | A full room or a full floor. Credit decisions made in-house. Tied to the business, not your personal credit report. |
| Reliant Capital | Lender and broker | Up to $500K application-only, $5M with financials | 2 to 4 hours | Medical, aesthetic, and wellness. Deferred payment options. New or used equipment. |
| Acorn Finance | Lending marketplace | $1,000 to $100,000 | 60 seconds to prequalify | Comparing offers. One application goes to 30 or more lenders with no impact to your score. |
| KWIPPED (APPROVE) | Lender marketplace | Minimum $1,500 equipment value | 60-second application | Larger commercial orders. Lenders compete, which usually returns the best APR. Businesses only. |
Apply with two of the four and compare. It costs nothing and the spread between offers is often significant.
Apply with Brickhouse Capital
Apply with Reliant Capital
Check your offers with Acorn Finance
For KWIPPED, call 866-861-6317 or email info@recovathlete.com and we will build the application around your order.
Pay in 4 splits the purchase into four interest-free payments charged every two weeks. Monthly installments spread the cost over a longer term, with rates from 0% to 36% APR depending on your credit profile. You see the exact terms before you agree to anything. No origination fees, no prepayment penalty, no late fees.
Prequalification does not. Affirm and Acorn Finance both run a soft check to show you offers, which has no impact on your score. Proceeding with a monthly installment plan or a business loan may involve a hard inquiry. That is why it pays to prequalify with more than one lender first and only proceed with the best offer.
Yes, and for most business buyers it is the better route. Brickhouse funds up to $250,000 on a one-page application with no financial statements. Reliant approves in 2 to 4 hours. Business financing is usually tied to the business rather than your personal credit report, and financed equipment can qualify for a Section 179 deduction. Confirm the tax position with your accountant.
No. This is the most common and most expensive mistake. Separate applications mean separate hard inquiries, separate payments, and a worse rate on each, because every individual ticket is small. Get one quote from RecovAthlete covering everything you are buying, including freight, and put that single number on one application.
Financed equipment can qualify. Section 179 lets US businesses deduct the cost of qualifying equipment in the year it is placed in service, and financing the purchase does not by itself disqualify it. The equipment must be in service, not merely ordered, within the tax year. Annual limits and eligibility rules are set by the IRS and change year to year, so consult your accountant.
Freight, yes. On Affirm it is part of the order total at checkout. On business financing, put freight on the RecovAthlete quote and the whole quote amount goes on the application. Installation and room construction are harder, because some equipment lenders will not fund non-equipment costs. Ask the lender before you sign.
Yes. Affirm charges no prepayment penalties. Acorn Finance and most business lenders also allow early payoff without penalty.
Tell us what you are buying and whether it is personal or for a business. We will point you at the right two lenders and quote freight and install as one number, which is also the number that goes on the application.
