Is the CL4G the same sauna as the Finsauna Solara 200GF?

CL4G vs SISU Charlie — which is better?
The CL4G uses Thermo-Spruce (heat-treated for rot resistance) and includes the Wi-Fi LED light bar and contoured Thermo-Aspen bench in the base kit. The SISU Charlie uses Western Red Cedar. Cedar smells better when new; Thermo-Spruce lasts longer in wet climates.
Does the CL4G actually fit three people?
Three adults can sit upright for shorter sessions. Two adults are comfortable for 20+ minute sessions with room to recline. If you want true 3-person comfort, look at the CL5G 4-person cube (55.1" interior depth vs 41.3" on the CL4G).
Is Thermo-Spruce better than cedar for outdoor saunas?
For longevity in wet or coastal climates, yes. Thermo-Spruce is kiln-treated at high heat to drive out moisture and resist decay. Cedar has better natural aroma but degrades faster in heavy rainfall or freeze-thaw cycles unless it's regularly sealed.

How long does the CL4G take to heat up?
About 45 minutes to reach 180-190°F with a 6kW heater in mild weather. Add 15-20 minutes in winter conditions below freezing. Most owners set a timer or use a smart plug.
How hard is the assembly?
DIY-friendly for two people with basic carpentry tools. About 10-12 hours over a weekend. The kit ships pre-cut with labeled panels and hardware. Roof shingling is the most time-consuming step.
What maintenance does the Thermo-Spruce need?
Wipe down benches after each use. Deep clean the interior monthly with a sauna wood cleaner. Treat the exterior annually with odorless sauna wood oil or protective sauna wax. Inspect drip rails and roof shingles twice a year.
Does the CL4G come with a heater?
No. The heater, stones, and control unit are sold separately. This lets you choose between Harvia, HUUM, or other brands based on preference. Most CL4G buyers pair it with a 6kW Harvia heater.
Can the CL4G be installed indoors?
It's engineered for outdoor use with a weatherproof roof, but it can be placed in a garage, basement, or covered patio if ventilation is adequate and you have proper clearance from combustibles around the heater.
How is the CL4G shipped and what should I inspect on delivery?
