1. Warranty Coverage
- Limited Lifetime Warranty for residential use to original retail purchaser.
- Covers factory-assembled components found defective in workmanship.

2. Warranty Service
- SaunaLife chooses repair or replacement (new or reconditioned parts).
- Return authorization required; prepaid freight to SaunaLife; SaunaLife ships back after repair.
- Labor, removal, or reinstallation not covered.
- Warranty void for misuse, alteration, commercial use, unsafe temps, harsh chemicals, or acts of God.
3. Shipping & Delivery
- LTL freight on wooden pallet, curbside only (driver lowers to ground level).
- Carrier contacts you to schedule delivery; please advise of difficult access or extra costs.
- No shipping outside the lower 48 U.S. states.
4. Order Process & Notifications
- Order confirmation emailed immediately after purchase.
- Stock items ship within ~5 business days; tracking info within 24 hrs of shipment.

5. Cancellations (Before Shipping)

The SaunaLife G4 turns an empty patch of backyard into a 6-person Nordic sauna without a builder, a crane, or a six-figure budget. It ships as a pre-cut kit. Two adults can stand it up over a weekend on a level pad. Is the G4 truly a DIY project?
Yes for most homeowners with basic carpentry skill. Two adults, a level pad, and a weekend will get it done. The Nordic Spruce panels interlock by hand, so you're not cutting or framing from scratch. Where you do need a pro: the electrical install for the heater. That requires a licensed electrician on a dedicated 240V circuit.
Why doesn't the kit include a heater?
Because the right heater depends on your climate, your local power supply, and whether you want electric or wood-fired heat. Hot climates can run a 6kW electric. Cold climates need 9kW or higher. Traditional sauna purists choose wood. Selling the kit without a heater keeps the price down and lets you spec the right one. We'll help you choose. Call 866-861-6317.
What kind of foundation does it need?
A level, dry base. The two common options are a concrete pad sized to the kit's exterior footprint, or a pressure-treated lumber base with proper drainage underneath. Both work. The key is level. Even a quarter-inch of slope will cause doors and windows to fit poorly.
Will it survive winter and snow load?
Yes. The 1.75" Nordic Spruce is thermally modified to resist moisture and decay, and the slanted roof sheds snow. In heavy-snow regions, brush off accumulation periodically and choose a 9kW or larger heater so it warms quickly in cold weather.
How does Nordic Spruce compare to cedar?
Cedar is the premium look and has a stronger aroma, but it costs significantly more and needs careful maintenance outdoors. Thermally treated Nordic Spruce delivers similar weather resistance at a better price, and is now the standard on Northern European outdoor saunas for that reason. If you prioritize the cedar scent, cedar wins. If you prioritize value and durability, spruce wins.
What's the ongoing maintenance?
Wipe down benches weekly. Apply a UV-protective sauna wood sealer to the exterior once a year. Keep the foundation clear of debris. That's the full list. The Nordic Spruce doesn't need annual reseal of the interior.
What does it cost to run per month?
Depends on heater wattage, local electricity rate, and how often you use it. As a benchmark, three 45-minute sessions a week with a 9kW heater runs comparable to using a clothes dryer a few times a week. Wood-fired costs less in electricity but more in firewood and time.
What's the warranty?
5-year structural warranty on materials and craftsmanship from SaunaLife. Electronics (the LED system, controllers) and heaters carry their own separate warranties from their respective manufacturers.

Limited Lifetime Warranty Coverage:
- Sauna Life extends this Limited Warranty solely to the original retail consumer purchaser of any Sauna Life sauna purchased from one of its authorized resellers.
- Sauna Life warrants that the Sauna Life sauna shall be free from defects in workmanship under normal conditions of use and service for the lifetime of the sauna for residential applications after delivery to the original retail purchaser.
- Warranty is limited to making good any factory assembled component deemed defective in workmanship by Sauna Life.
- Exclusions: Normal material wear, natural weathering of lumber, installation or delivery of components, and applies only to the original retail purchaser.
Warranty Performance:
- Repair or replacement of defective part at Sauna Life's option.
- Substitution of part or component of equivalent value, either new or factory reconditioned.
- Repair or replacement assumes the remaining portion of the original product's warranty.
- Return authorization required for warranty service, prepaid freight to Sauna Life for repair, and shipping back to original purchaser.
- Prior contact with Sauna Life required for packaging, shipping instructions, and return authorization.
- Labor charges, removal, installation, or replacement of sauna or its components not covered.
- Exclusions: Normal wear and tear, cosmetic issues, changes due to natural aging and weathering, sauna heaters, and added components.
Acts Invalidating Warranty:
- Warranty void if subjected to alteration, misuse, abuse, commercial use, or unauthorized repairs.
- Alteration includes deviation from original assembly instructions, component change, or addition of non-approved devices contributing to failure or unsafe operation.
- Use in application not designed for voids warranty.
- Exclusions: Damage from operation above safe sauna temperatures, added components, harsh chemicals, product movement, and acts of God.
