Most nitrogen cryotherapy chambers blow raw nitrogen vapor directly at the client. The CryoStar Antarctica, compared with those designs, does not. Liquid nitrogen runs through an indirect heat exchanger, and the air that enters the cabin is cold air, not nitrogen gas. The client walks in head included, breathes normally, and stands in temperatures from negative 120C to negative 140C for one to three minutes. Sessions run back to back with fast precooling between clients. The cabin is used with an infrared sauna, red light bed or cold plunge in a recovery room package, so you stop building single-modality rooms. RecovAthlete sells the Antarctica as an authorized Vacuactivus dealer. Not available for sale to Canada.

The indirect heat exchanger is the difference between this cabin and most nitrogen chambers on the market. Liquid nitrogen cools the exchanger. The exchanger cools room air. That cooled air fills the cabin. The client breathes cold air, not nitrogen gas, and walks in with their head inside the cabin. That matters for first-time clients. An open-head design where the client's head sticks out of the top is less intimidating than a sealed pod, but a walk-in cabin where they breathe normal air and see through the glass door is even less so. The rebooking rate depends on it.
Sessions run one to three minutes. With fast precooling, the cabin recovers temperature between clients quickly enough to run back-to-back bookings. Nitrogen consumption is 4 to 7 kg per session including precooling. That is a predictable per-session cost, which makes it simple to price memberships and packages.
The cabin is 1870 mm long, 1170 mm wide and 2292 mm high (73 by 46 by 90 inches). Net weight is 450 kg (990 lb). Crated weight is 600 kg (1,322 lb). It draws 1.5 kW on a 20A circuit, either 220V 50Hz or 110V 60Hz. The cabin itself fits inside a single treatment room at roughly 73 by 46 inches of floor space, but you also need room for the LN2 storage tank, venting for nitrogen exhaust, and clearance around the cabin door for client entry. Professional installation is required and takes a certified technician.
Confirm five things with us: the configuration (Simple or Grand), the voltage, the colour, LN2 supplier access at your location, and ventilation and oxygen monitoring at the install site. The Antarctica requires professional installation by a Vacuactivus factory-certified technician. We coordinate the installation quote before the unit ships. The liquid nitrogen storage tank is not included and must be sourced separately.
Photograph the crate before the driver leaves. Open it the same day and inspect the cabin shell, the glass door, the touchscreen and all internal panels. If anything is damaged, email photos to info@recovathlete.com within 24 hours. Freight damage has a tighter claim window than a warranty defect. We handle the claim, not you. Do not attempt to install the unit yourself. Wait for the certified technician.

Both configurations share the same cabin, heat exchanger, touchscreen and speaker system. The Grand adds three things: a thermal imaging camera, an integrated oxygen sensor and a 24 in top-mounted display. The CryoStar Antarctica is a whole body nitrogen cryotherapy chamber manufactured by Vacuactivus. It uses an indirect heat exchanger to cool cabin air without blowing nitrogen vapor directly at the client. The client walks in head included and breathes cold air during a 1 to 3 minute session. RecovAthlete sells it as an authorized Vacuactivus dealer.
Most nitrogen cryosaunas are open-head designs where the client's head sticks out of the top and nitrogen vapor fills the lower chamber. The Antarctica is a walk-in cabin with a glass door. The client's entire body including head is inside the cabin, and the air they breathe is cold air cooled by a heat exchanger, not nitrogen gas. That is the key difference.
The cabin is 73 by 46 by 90 inches. It draws 1.5 kW on a 20A circuit, either 220V 50Hz or 110V 60Hz. You also need room for an LN2 storage tank, venting for nitrogen exhaust, and clearance around the door. Plan the full room layout with the certified technician before the unit ships.
4 to 7 kg per session including precooling. Your per-session nitrogen cost depends on local LN2 pricing. Use that number to forecast COGS and price memberships before you order.
No. You must source LN2 storage and supply from a local supplier. The tank, the delivery contract and the venting setup are your responsibility. We can advise on what to ask for, but the supply relationship is between you and your nitrogen vendor.
Yes. Installation must be performed by a Vacuactivus factory-certified technician. This is a requirement, not a recommendation. Installation is sold separately. We coordinate the installation quote before your unit ships so both arrive on the same timeline.
No. Vacuactivus does not sell this product to Canada. This restriction comes from the manufacturer and applies to all authorized dealers.
Both share the same cabin, heat exchanger, touchscreen and speaker system. The Grand adds a thermal imaging camera, an integrated oxygen sensor and a 24 in top-mounted display. If your local regulations require integrated oxygen monitoring, or if you want to show clients their skin temperature during the session, the Grand is the one to order. The Simple requires a third-party oxygen monitor in the room.
The real decision is Simple or Grand, and it comes down to whether you need integrated oxygen monitoring and thermal imaging or whether you already have those covered. Buying for yourself, spread the cost through Affirm at checkout. Buying for a gym, clinic, spa, or studio, apply with one of four business lenders and put the whole room on a single application.
RecovAthlete has no control over any financing decision. Approval is based on your creditworthiness and is solely the lender's decision.
Affirm at checkout. Rates run 0% to 36% APR based on your credit profile. Soft check to prequalify, so no impact on your score. No prepayment penalty.
Brickhouse Capital, Reliant Capital, Acorn Finance, or KWIPPED. Apply with two of the four and compare. Financed equipment can qualify for a Section 179 deduction. Confirm with your accountant.
Every page below has real prices, real monthly payment examples, and the lender comparison for that category. Pick the one you are buying.
Most business buyers are not buying one machine. They are building a room. Sauna, cold plunge, red light, vibration, hyperbaric, cryotherapy, and halotherapy all finance on the same paper through the same four lenders, and RecovAthlete quotes every category on one purchase order.
That means one freight schedule, one install window, and one financing application instead of six. It also gets you a better rate, because a bigger number on one application beats six small ones with six hard inquiries.

| Lender | Type | Amount | Speed | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Affirm | Consumer, at checkout | Order total | Seconds | Personal purchases. 0% to 36% APR based on credit. Soft check to prequalify. |
| Brickhouse Capital | Direct equipment lender | Up to $250K on a one-page application, $1M+ with financials | ~24 hours | A full room or a full floor. Credit decisions made in-house. Tied to the business, not your personal credit report. |
| Reliant Capital | Lender and broker | Up to $500K application-only, $5M with financials | 2 to 4 hours | Medical, aesthetic, and wellness. Deferred payment options. New or used equipment. |
| Acorn Finance | Lending marketplace | $1,000 to $100,000 | 60 seconds to prequalify | Comparing offers. One application goes to 30 or more lenders with no impact to your score. |
| KWIPPED (APPROVE) | Lender marketplace | Minimum $1,500 equipment value | 60-second application | Larger commercial orders. Lenders compete, which usually returns the best APR. Businesses only. |
Apply with two of the four and compare. It costs nothing and the spread between offers is often significant.

Pay in 4 splits the purchase into four interest-free payments charged every two weeks. Monthly installments spread the cost over a longer term, with rates from 0% to 36% APR depending on your credit profile. You see the exact terms before you agree to anything. No origination fees, no prepayment penalty, no late fees.
Prequalification does not. Affirm and Acorn Finance both run a soft check to show you offers, which has no impact on your score. Proceeding with a monthly installment plan or a business loan may involve a hard inquiry. That is why it pays to prequalify with more than one lender first and only proceed with the best offer.
Yes, and for most business buyers it is the better route. Brickhouse funds up to $250,000 on a one-page application with no financial statements. Reliant approves in 2 to 4 hours. Business financing is usually tied to the business rather than your personal credit report, and financed equipment can qualify for a Section 179 deduction. Confirm the tax position with your accountant.
No. This is the most common and most expensive mistake. Separate applications mean separate hard inquiries, separate payments, and a worse rate on each, because every individual ticket is small. Get one quote from RecovAthlete covering everything you are buying, including freight, and put that single number on one application.
Financed equipment can qualify. Section 179 lets US businesses deduct the cost of qualifying equipment in the year it is placed in service, and financing the purchase does not by itself disqualify it. The equipment must be in service, not merely ordered, within the tax year. Annual limits and eligibility rules are set by the IRS and change year to year, so consult your accountant.
Freight, yes. On Affirm it is part of the order total at checkout. On business financing, put freight on the RecovAthlete quote and the whole quote amount goes on the application. Installation and room construction are harder, because some equipment lenders will not fund non-equipment costs. Ask the lender before you sign.
Yes. Affirm charges no prepayment penalties. Acorn Finance and most business lenders also allow early payoff without penalty.
Tell us what you are buying and whether it is personal or for a business. We will point you at the right two lenders and quote freight and install as one number, which is also the number that goes on the application.
