The Luraco i9 Max Plus Special Edition is a full-body medical massage chair built in Arlington, Texas. It sits in a home, a clinic treatment room or a recovery studio, and one person uses it at a time for a 15 to 30 minute session. Two 3D roller engines work the neck, shoulders and upper back at the same time as the lower back, glutes and hamstrings, while 100 air cells compress the arms, hips, calves and feet. Powered actuators stretch the arms, hands, lower back and feet, which air-only chairs cannot reproduce.
This is the entry point into the i9 Max Plus range and the one to buy if you want the massage rather than the trim. It runs the same hardware as the Billionaire Edition and the Royal Edition. What those two add is deeper software customization and, on the Royal, 18K gold components. The massage itself does not change.
Designed for users who want regular full-body massage, post-training recovery and relief from everyday muscular tension. The recommended range of 4 ft 10 in to 6 ft 10 in and a 300 lb limit also make it suitable for unusually tall users. It needs a 28 inch doorway to get in, 36 inches of clearance in front once placed, and a standard 110V outlet. No electrician, no plumbing, no assembly beyond unboxing.

Measure before you order
Minimum doorway width is 28 inches. The chair arrives on a 71 x 34 x 70 inch pallet weighing 380 lb, in one box. Measure your narrowest doorway, any stairwell turn, and the elevator if there is one. Once placed, Luraco specifies 36 inches of clearance in front, 24 inches behind the backrest, and 18 inches from the wall to the closest armrest.
Special, Billionaire or Royal: which one
Read this before anything else on the page. All three chairs run identical massage hardware. Two 3D Butterfly roller engines, the Split L-Track, 100 air cells and the same 9 programs. Nothing about the massage itself changes between them. What changes is personalization and trim.

The chair ships on a single pallet direct from the Arlington factory, with free curbside shipping across the continental United States. Personalization is applied during the build, so your name and keypad text need confirming at order. Typical delivery is 2 to 3 weeks from order. You get tracking by email and a call to schedule a delivery day that works for you. In-home delivery and full setup is available as a paid add-on.

What is the difference between the Special Edition and the Billionaire Edition?
The massage hardware is the same. Both run two 3D Butterfly roller engines, the Split L-Track, 100 air cells and the same 9 programs, and both carry the same warranty. The Billionaire Edition adds Level II software customization and a remote that loads your own photo on the welcome screen. The Special Edition has Level I customization, which puts your ownership line on the keypad screens. If personalization is not the reason you are buying, the Special Edition delivers an identical massage.
How is this different from the standard i9 Max Plus?
That one is a hardware step down, not a trim change. The standard i9 Max Plus runs one 3D roller engine. The Special Edition runs two, which is what allows the upper back and shoulders to be worked at the same time as the lower back and glutes. On top of that second engine the Special Edition adds the leather name tag, your name on the remote home screen, Qi wireless phone charging on the armrest, the blood pressure and heart rate monitor, and emergency backup power to return the chair upright if the power drops. It means Luraco has filed with the FDA as a device manufacturer. It is not FDA approval, FDA clearance, or a finding that the chair treats any condition. The chair is also UL listed and CE listed for electrical safety. If your facility needs specific documentation, call us and we will get it from Luraco.
Who services it if something goes wrong?
Luraco manufactures in Arlington, Texas and services directly from the factory. Residential warranty covers 5 years parts, 3 years service and 10 years on the leather, and an extended warranty can be added within 90 days of purchase. Support is US based. Commercial placement carries different terms, so call us before ordering for a clinic or studio.
How long until it arrives?
Typical delivery is 2 to 3 weeks from order. The chair is built to your personalization spec in Arlington, then shipped curbside at no charge anywhere in the continental United States. Do you ship to Canada?

What is covered in this Warranty?
1) For Home Use:
• This warranty includes parts and in-home labor costs covered for the first 3 years at no cost to the customer.
• This warranty includes additional 2 years for parts at no cost to the customer.
• This warranty may require the cooperation of the chair’s owner for some over-the-phone troubleshooting.
2) For Commercial Use:
• This warranty includes parts and labor costs covered for the first 6 months at no cost to the customer.
• This warranty includes additional 6 months for parts at no cost to the customer.
• This warranty may require the cooperation of the chair’s owner for some over-the-phone troubleshooting.

What is NOT covered in this Warranty?
• This warranty does not cover any loss or damage resulting from improper installation, alterations, or modifications of original condition or unauthorized repairs.
• This warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use of electrical/power supply, electrical disturbances, power surges, cracked remote control screens, cosmetic changes, improper operating environment, or damage caused by animals or liquids of any kind.
• This warranty does not include any shipping expenses incurred.
• This warranty does not apply to normal wear-and-tear including leather or fabric coverings.
• This warranty does not cover damages from floods, storms, fires, or other natural disasters.
• The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged physically, whether intentionally, accidentally, or by neglect: including but not limited to stains, fluids, mold, water damage, pet or insect damage, cuts, burns, loss of use during the period the product is at a repair facility, or otherwise awaiting parts or repair; and products purchased from unauthorized dealers.
• Unnecessary service: If no problem is found by the service technician, you may be charged for service calls, labor, and travel costs.
• Display models that have been on the showroom floor for more than twelve (12) months are not covered under this limited warranty.

Implied Warranty
• Any implied warranties shall be limited to the duration of the 3-year portion of this warranty for home use and the 6-month portion of this warranty for commercial use. With regard to the structural frame, it is limited to the duration of the 5-year portion of this warranty for home use, and the 1-year portion of this warranty for commercial use.
• In no case will Luraco be liable for incidental or consequential damages, whether such damages are claimed on basis of breach of warranty, breach of contract, negligence, or strict/product liability, including without limitation, damage to property (other than the product) or other economic losses.
• Luraco shall not be liable for any personal injury, property, or any incidental or consequential damages of any kind resulting from malfunctions, defects, misuse, improper installation, or alteration of this product.
Extended Warranty Plan
Luraco’s massage chairs come with a high expectation of performance and reliability and should last for many years. However, all products have a defective rate. If something does go wrong, Luraco offers a purchased Extended Warranty Plan. The Extended Warranty Plan provides home-use customers with additional 2 years of comprehensive protection for Luraco’s massage chairs. You can rest assured that your massage chair will be taken care of as soon as possible.
Note: The Extended Warranty plan must be purchased within ninety (90) days of the original chair purchase.
Also, the Extended warranty plan is available for in-home use applications only. Luraco does not offer this plan for commercial use.
