Shipping and Delivery
- You are responsible for product costs, shipping, insurance, and freight charges.
- Upon delivery, it's crucial that you sign for the package and conduct a thorough inspection. This proactive step ensures that any potential issues are identified and addressed promptly.
- BODYFRIEND is not responsible for delays or damages caused by third-party carriers.
- All shipments are FOB origin.
- If shipping within the continental U.S., you are responsible for all duties, taxes, and fees.
- If shipping outside the continental U.S., all sales are final, and warranties are void. Products shipped or used outside the U.S. cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded. You are responsible for any customs duties or local fees.
- Delivery includes product assembly, a basic functionality test, and packaging removal (unless you ask to keep it).
- Deliveries happen Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PST, and are usually within 5ā10 business days of purchase.
- A delivery agent will call you to confirm the delivery date.
- Please ensure doorways are measured and rooms are cleared for easy access. Deliveries are made to the first or second floor only.
- An adult (18+) must be present for delivery.
- If you need to reschedule your delivery, please provide at least 48 hours notice. This allows us to accommodate your request and ensures a smooth delivery process. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in an additional fee.
Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds
- Most BODYFRIEND products are non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable unless a manufacturing defect exists.
- Floor models are final sale and cannot be returned for any reason.
- For manufacturing defects, you must notify BODYFRIEND within 30 days of purchase.
- A 20% restocking fee applies to all approved returns, and you are responsible for return shipping.
- Items must be returned with the original receipt, in undamaged, sellable condition, and original packaging.
- BODYFRIEND will inspect the item and process returns within 7ā14 business days. Based on their inspection, they may issue credit, replacement, exchange, or repair.
- Refunds will be made in the original form of payment. Cash purchases over $250 will be refunded by check within 10 business days. Store credits (if issued) cover product price and sales tax only, not shipping.
- If your order arrives damaged, please save all packaging and contact BODYFRIEND immediately. We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction and will inspect the product to decide whether to repair, replace, exchange, or refund.
- If you refuse delivery, you will be charged for return shipping. No refunds are given for non-refundable items. Additional fees apply if you want the product shipped again.
- Shipping fees and surcharges are non-refundable. A 20% restocking fee and a $1700 shipping and handling fee will be deducted from refunds on applicable returns.
Warranty
- A Limited Warranty covers BODYFRIEND products for material or craftsmanship defects.
- The warranty is valid for 6 months for non-residential use.
- Warranty is void for any products used or shipped outside the continental U.S.

FIVE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

Coverage
- All parts, labor, and structural framework
- Years 1ā3: Labor and parts covered at no cost
- Years 1ā5: Structural framework covered at no cost
- Defects in materials and artistry
All goods (excluding accessories, documentation, or enhancements) should be free from material and artistry defects at delivery. Coverage lasts five (5) years from the delivery date.
Thorough Inspection and Approval: defective materials must be inspected and approved for return by BODYFRIEND. This meticulous process ensures that only genuine issues are addressed. If authorized, the materials will be repaired or replaced and returned at no charge.
Limitations
- This applies to massage chairs only (not accessories, documentation, or enhancements)
- Warranty is non-transferable
- Valid only within the continental U.S. (excludes Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and U.S. territories)
- BODYFRIEND is not responsible for consequential damages
- This is the sole express warranty; it excludes all other warranties (including merchantability or fitness for purpose)
- Does not cover misuse, accidents, improper installation/storage, unauthorized repairs
- Claims must be made in writing within 5 years
- Warranty is void if unauthorized repairs are made
The laws of the State of California govern this warranty.
