Introduction

BASI Systems Pilates equipment is crafted with professionalism to ensure your complete satisfaction. We are committed to resolving any unlikely issues that may arise and are always here to support you.

Warranty Overview

We provide a limited warranty, which is our sole warranty, overriding all other warranties, whether expressed or implied. This warranty activates on the original purchase invoice date and adheres to the time limits specified herein. Repaired or replaced parts under this warranty will maintain the original warranty period.

Warranty Conditions

We assure our products will be free from material or workmanship defects during the warranty period. In case of a defect believed to be covered by this warranty, follow the proper return procedure. Defective parts conforming to warranty guidelines will be repaired, replaced, or refunded at BASI Systems' discretion, under these conditions:

  • The issue is due to a manufacturing or materials defect.
  • The part is used solely for its intended purpose, complying with safety, usage, and maintenance guidelines.
  • The defect is not caused by wear and tear, fabric damage, misuse, unauthorized modifications, or non-compliance with instructions.
  • The defect is not due to exposure to harmful chemicals, natural or chemical abrasives.
  • The defect is not due to water submersion, indoor flooding, or fire damage.
  • The part is owned by the original retail purchaser with proof of purchase. The warranty is non-transferable.
  • The claim is within the warranty period.

Specific Warranty Periods

Ten Year Warranty

Includes frame and structural components for barrels (Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector), chairs (Wunda Chair, F2 Chair), wall system products (Wall Unit, Wall Tower, Ped-A-Pul), and Reformer gearbar and footbar mechanisms.

Two Year Warranty

Covers springs and mechanical components.

Ninety Day Warranty

Applicable to upholstered parts, ropes, straps, and loops. Excludes wear-and-tear, stains, indentations, scratches, or damage from harsh chemical cleansers. Equivalent fabric will be provided if identical fabric is unavailable.

Limitation of Liability

This is our exclusive warranty, voiding all other warranties, expressed or implied. BASI Systems is not liable for incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Legal Rights

This limited warranty provides specific legal rights, and you may have other rights varying from state to state.

Warranty Responsibility

Our responsibility for defective goods is limited to repair, replacement, or refund as detailed in this limited warranty.

Warranty Exclusivity

To the extent permitted by law, this warranty is exclusive and replaces all other warranties, oral, written, statutory, express, or implied. We disclaim all other warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. General Conditions

  • Eligibility for Returns: Returns are accepted if they are authorized by RecovAthlete, except for products designated as non-returnable.
  • Direct Purchases Only: Only items purchased directly from RecovAthlete are eligible for return. For products bought from resellers or third-party retailers, please contact them directly.

Defective Equipment

  • Warranty Service: Defective equipment will be handled according to the product's warranty, either through repair or replacement.

Return Process

  • Pre-authorization Required: Returns require prior agreement and authorization from Bodynetworx.
  • Return Authorization (RA) Number: To initiate a return, contact Bodynetworx at +1(917) 274-9700 or email support@recovathlete.com for an RA number. Returns without an RA number will not be accepted.
  • Time Frame: Request for an RA must be made within 30 days of shipment (as per invoice date). Returned items must be received within 30 days of receiving the RA number.
  • Condition of Returned Products: Items must be returned in their original packaging, in new-like condition, along with the original invoice.
  • Restocking Fee: Unauthorized returns or those without an RA number may incur a 20% restocking fee.
  • Shipping Charges: Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable. All shipping and handling charges for returned items are the responsibility of the customer.

After Return

  • Inspection and Processing: Upon receipt and inspection of returned items, RecovAthlete may exchange the item, issue a credit, or provide a refund at its discretion.
  • Insurance Recommendation: It is recommended to insure return shipments against loss or damage and use a carrier that provides delivery proof.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom and Non-Equipment Products: Customized items and certain non-equipment products are non-returnable.
  • List of Non-Returnable Equipment:
    • Custom products (custom upholstery or equipment configuration).
    • Equipment (various Reformers, Towers and Trapeze Systems, Chairs and Barrels, Upgrades, Options and Other Pilates Equipment).
    • Non-equipment products (springs, mat conversions).

Product Quality

  • Handmade Quality: Basi equipment and products are handcrafted, and slight blemishes or minor imperfections are considered normal.

Final Note

  • No Refunds on Certain Products: There are no refunds on products specifically marked as non-returnable on the RecovAthlete website.
