Liability Waiver, Warranty, Installation, and Use Warnings

LIMITED WARRANTY

Coverage:

  • This LIMITED WARRANTY covers defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one year from the date of first retail purchase.
  • During the warranty period, The Cold Life will replace or repair, at its discretion, any defective product or part returned by the original purchaser.

Exclusions:

  • This warranty does not cover problems resulting from abuse, accidents, misuse, or electrical power issues.
  • Excludes commercial use, poor water chemistry, neglected filter maintenance, freezing conditions, and power outages.
  • Products not paid for in full are also excluded from warranty coverage.

Additional Information:

  • Handmade in America, our products may include minor blemishes which are not considered defects.
  • The warranty for the water chiller covers one year; water filters are not covered.
  • Any modifications or misuse of the product will void the warranty.

Claim Process:

  • To obtain service under this warranty, contact us at support@thecoldlife.com with the purchaserā€™s name, proof of purchase, item details, and description of the issue.
  • Warranty issues are typically addressed via email or phone, and repairs can often be performed by the customer.

Limitations:

  • The Cold Life disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, and is not liable for incidental or consequential damages.
  • Coverage varies by state and may provide specific legal rights.

INSTALLATION WARNINGS

General Safety:

  1. Comply with local building codes.
  2. Install on a circuit protected by a ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI).
  3. Ensure all connections are dry and secure.
  4. Use a dedicated GFI breaker.
  5. Do not modify power plugs or open the unit unsupervised.

Water Sanitation and Maintenance:

  • Maintain clean and safe water conditions.
  • Replace the filter at least twice per month if no chemicals are used.
  • Consider using chemicals available on our website for prolonged water cleanliness.

USAGE WARNINGS

Cold Exposure Warnings:

  • Not suitable for children under 18, or individuals with certain health conditions without medical consultation.
  • Alcohol, drugs, or certain medications can increase risks and should be avoided during use.
  • Supervise use to prevent injuries and monitor water temperature and duration of exposure.
